Aurora 4.0.8 (Mac OS X)
I used to use Aurora as my default alarm clock, but everything I liked about it then is now missing. I don't take my Mac to bed with me so it was great to be able set the alarm and for AirTunes to direct the music to the speakers by my bed. In this release you can no longer do that. All output comes out of the Mac no matter what set of external speakers I use. So it seems that Aurora is bypassing AirTunes. The other backward step is that Aurora seems to no longer pick up the playlists on your iPod if it's connected to iTunes. I manually manage my music so invariably my most important music is on the iPod because I listen to that more than iTunes. So now the search is on for some better software. Bad move on the part of the developers. [alert admin]
