RapidWeaver 3.6 (Mac OS X)
As other users, i bought last Christmas the 3.5.1 version and actually never used. It's odd for me to be forced on a mac software to watch several tutorial movies to use a program and even after that, plus more than 20 years of Mac usage, not being able to place an image in the center of the page at the first attempt. By the way, the upgrade price is way too much and as far I could see, it doesn't worth it. Even more disappointing, not a single warning about losing your existing license during the upgrade... NameChanger 1.3 (Mac OS X)
I'd look for something like this since the Paleolithic. And here it is: simple, neat, does what is intended to do. Just great. My sincere compliments and eternal thanks. Paolo [alert admin]

Eye of Horus 1.0 (Mac OS X)
There are freeware packages...
...or scripts you can google 'em to produce the same result. I doubt you can charge for this feature. Best of luck! [alert admin]

Adobe Soundbooth 1.0 (Mac OS X)
To leave the majority of installed base of Macs without the chance to try this app should tell enough why Adobe is not renowned for Audio. And probably never will. Insane. [alert admin]

...it nags every (too) few seconds with messages about a plethora of unregisterd plug-ins. Thus isn't freeware. There's a way to overcome this? How much it will cost a nagless version? Thanks Paolo [alert admin]

Nice, elegant, smart. Export to various formats. That's it. This is what I needed. Thanks a lot [alert admin]

D-Vision 3.1 (Mac OS X)
What can I say? Easy to use and incredibly smart. I used it only once so far. One night last week i was encoding a double-pass DivX and in the middle (well-shortly after) of the encoding a nasty thunderstorm caused my mac to shut down abruptly (i have a belkin multi-plug with power-surge detection). As it was just after the beginning of the second pass, restarting D-Vision amzed me as it was beginning the second-pass encoding ONLY! Thus saving an hour and half of the first pass. The mechanism of the tasks is so smart! Thanks Paolo [alert admin]

the the program stays there, but no second part was processed... Preview worked for me tough. Another nice feature would be keyframe splitting, possibly searching with arrow keys... [alert admin]

I don't believe you can give 5 star to some shareware/commercial program that do things that plenty of others do for free. Neither if it's your very own. Then if you feel guilty about keeping an unprotected copy of a DVD YOU own on YOUR hard drive for a in-flight watch, well... erase it. Sorry but it's true. Then, don't worry. They will remove this post ASAD (As Soon As Detected).
