InerziaLightning 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Heads-Up

Its a not only counting, but a study of the sky to determine the front, where the hot and cold air meets. Many times people think the storm is 20 miles away, but in reality the storm is directly overhead. St Elmo's Fire & St Elmo's Light are something to study. If you can feel the hair on your arms or head start to stand-up or raise, you better drop to the floor in a ball, with your feet on the ground, your hands held against your body and try to make the smallest ball with your body. I witnessed one day in the summer of 2007 in a food (Publix) parking lot in South Florida, I told the lady to leave her cart right where it was and to come under the roof overhang. She said, "I will be fine, the lightning is far away". Well, the lightning struck her dead right there. There was about 10 to 20 seconds of time she was loading her groceries in the trunk from when I told her to take cover. There was about 8 people who witnessed the whole thing. I told them to wait under the roof overhang and they all listened to me. I held up my arm and you could see the hair stand-up. I could see other people's hair standing up at this moment. As I started to walk out to the lot, my hair jumped right up and I knew there was going to be a strike soon. I pleaded with the lady to take cover (she was about 28 years old I believe.). The thunder claps sounded far, far away. I could feel the electrons in the air, it was the strongest I have ever felt in my life of living in Florida. Props to the Program, education is needed to teach people, especially in South Florida. So many people are killed by Lightning each year. I almost got zapped in a 28 foot boat 2 miles offshore one time, I was scared to death. The bolts sounded like they hit the boat. [alert admin]

We are still running the 1.0 Software in the 1st. Gen iPhones

We are still running the 1.0 Software in the 1st. Gen iPhones, It worked well so far so we never bothered to update it. Is it worth updating the 1st. gen iPhones or should I stick to the old 1.0 software? All I do is use it as a phone, calc, date etc.. I seldom use the internet features. [alert admin]

World Clock Deluxe X 4.6.4 (Mac OS X)

$20.00 For a Clock?

$20.00 for a Clock is Kinda High, a simple One Trick Pony App like this should be $5.00 Tops. Then you may get a few Customers with some handy cash via PayPal or the like. There are several Free App's that are just as useful. I'm not rating the Stars, but the Price is a Major Turn-Off for a Clock. You can also access dozens of Online World Clocks that will give so much more info for free, in seconds. You need to know how consumers think. [alert admin]

What's Keeping Me 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Hold the Option Button Before you Trash or Eject a File.

Having problems with a file that will not delete from the Trash? Simply hold down the "Option" button when you select empty trash. it should trash the file, if not unlock the file if it's locked. All you do is remove the file, -> Get Info -> UnLock -> Then trash it. Same goes with ejecting a stubborn file, Make sure all programs within the file are closed, for instance, Simple text or Acrobat Reader, if they are opened inside a locked image file and still running on the comp, this will prevent you from ejecting a stubborn image file. best to all [alert admin]

Ringy Dingy 1.2 (Mac OS X)

25.00 for this?

25.00 for this? Wow, 25.00 Large in a small shareware world. 3.00 is fair and most people would paypal you 3.00 for this, 25.00 is kinda reaching a bit. 100 people at 3.00 is better than one person at 25.00. most of us know how to make ringtones for free, but there are some that may not have the skills. I don't give the software a 1 star rating for being overpriced, just to voice a comment. I have not tried the ware, I can make ringtones in a few minutes myself. [alert admin]

$30.00 BUCKS ? I Would Pay 5.00 for Such a Ware.

$30.00 BUCKS ? I Would Pay 5.00 for Such a Ware. When you compare Graphic Converter 6.4 and all it does for $34.95, Graphic Converter 6.4 is worth this kind of money. With times as hard as they are now, most people are so tight with money. Most people will pay 5.00 for a cool little prog. For $30.00 it better be close to GC 6.4. It's better to sell 2000 copies at 5.00 than a few at $30.00. That's how I, a consumer with over 2 dozen paid shareware progs in my system looks at it. I'M not saying the program is bad or anything, it's just as easy to continue using some of the free progs and GC 6.4, the workhorse. [alert admin]

Absolute Backgammon 6.1.1 (Mac OS X)

House Wins!

It appears to be rigged for the House to Win. The dice rolls are not random to me. The House gets great rolls, and we get junk. I'LL stick to the real game. [alert admin]

Bingo Caller 2.2.0 (Mac OS X)

Very Cool Game, Free to Boot !

What a cool game for all to play, So many people are selling simple programs for 40.00, it's nice to see some people take the time to make free software for all. It gives us the option to make a donation without all these stupid "Gotcha" you need a serial to see how it works. Thank You [alert admin]

Pay It Down 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)

People are broke and the Prog Helps Do What>?

People are broke and the Prog Helps Do What>? That is the question. First of all they are so desperate and so far in debt they are downloading a program they can't pay for in the first place. A program like this should be freeware, lend a hand to those who need it. Write another program for the well-to-do and give this program for the people having troubles. [alert admin]

What happened???

Simply trash your prefs and go back to the 1.52, or whatever works for you. If you don't even know how to do this you should not be downloading torrents. it works fine to me, the best, easiest client out there for mac.

sloppy

slop, No need to give the program a 3 star rating just because there is a few bugs in an update? First of all, the program is free. Second you went back to 9.8 and it seems to work fine for you. I could see a 3 star if the prog was junk, but it's not junk. It will do so many things, and it's free. it's always the cheap people that complain. Your not cheap that's why…

Give Graphic Converter App. a Try

Give Graphic Converter App. a Try I never trusted the iPhoto to import all my photos, I learned early on. I always import my photos into a folder, then I duplicate the folder and work with the copy folder, and store the original RAW photos in case of a problem.

Frustrating...

You only have 1.5 GB of RAM? The OS needs more than that just to run. I would install more RAM in your Mac to make it run better. At least 4 GB would be OK. Then you will get all programs working better. Max-Out your RAM if you can, your Mac will FLY.

Great Price !

I too had to pay for the Upgrade, but for 35.00 it's a steal. I bet there is 1000's of hours of R&D in this program to make it to work with just about every file type known to man. PhotoShop is 611.49 on Amazon, I know PhotoShop is a High End Program, but I will never be able to figure all the options and to fully use the App. All I need to do is batch…

TRY THIS FIX

If PopCorn or Toast Crash on startup You... can go to the Library and go to the QuickTime Folder and remove many of the component's that are causing the conflict. I have these installed in my computer and Toast Works Fine. I had to remove at least 5 of them, some Apple, some DIVX, Some XVID, but it's OK because the Perian will do the work of many component's. So if you start removing the oldest component's one by one, you…

Toast Titanium can no longer see my iTunes library

Just go back to 8.0.1, if you can't troubleshoot it. Go to users -> Lib -> Prefrefernces -> then delete the two Roxio files Roxio Toast Prefs com.roxio.Toast.plist then go to the Application Support Folder and delete the Roxio Folder. Now you can re-install the 8.0.1 version or 8.0 depending what your CD is. And there are many conflicts in the Quicktime Folder as I write about in the comment below, you can remove all the Apple items , and see…

Leopard Does not purrrr ....

When you have that much important business on your computer you should always install a fresh new OSX 10.5 on a different hard drive and slowly install your important items one at a time. I have installed a new system on a different drive and I can easily swap back to 10.4.8, then to 10.5. Buy a firewire bootable hard Drive if you don't have a Mac Pro w/extra bays. The new system works with…
