Now Up-to-Date & Contact 5.2 (Mac OS X)

Woah's of NUDC

Now ive only been using this program for 2 days (because it was only released 2 days ago) atleast this version however i have been using now up to date contact for well over 2 years, now i upgraded to this version and though "Hey what else could go wrong?" well its funny things did, Now when i open a new event it takes 23 seconds to open the window (last version 5.1 didn't) and i only have a 6 second window to type before the pinwheel starts spinning then it takes almost 45secs. to 1 minute to close the window thats unacceptable in any program. Also in the preferences if you would like your calander to be backed up ever few moments (just a simple auto save feature) good luck, where it allows you to add a time value the value never stays the same for some reason the preference can't read "0" zero and if you set to 10 minutes it will shoot down to one minute and try to auto save every minute even bumping it up to 9 minutes or 90 as i put onto the screen... it sped up the window opening and closing and information event windows, but it was still very sluggish. I am also a pc user and have this program for my pc, and it runs 10x times faster then the mac version on my powerbook. [alert admin]

SyncBack 3.2.9 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

The Joys of Pc's and Macs...

For the first time today I used SyncBack 3.2.9, and it looked like a simple enough program, and it is. I also run PcMacLan because the office i work in is mainly mac, and today while testing things, I have found that using the PcMacLan with SyncBack works awesomely well, best part its a freebee, and pc maclan is only 30 bucks, so i can now back up everything to a mac, or pc for 30 dollars instead of using Retrospect and racking my brain out. :D awesome product.
