Eraser 5.8 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
After downloading this software, I found my comp had been infected by the Blackworm/Beagle Virus, which includes adware. This happened on both laptops on which I installed Eraser. On the first, I had to find a program online to remove the virus. On the second, my avast! antivirus caught the virus & I was able to quarantine it. The developer of Eraser should definitely correct this problem, since it seems like a very good program otherwise. [alert admin]
