YummySoup! 1.6.9.5 (Mac OS X)

Excellent user interface

Rather than just repeating what others have said, I will note that as a long time Mac user, YummySoup! is not only one of the best recipe programs, but one of the most user-friendly of any genre of programs I've used in terms of making the end goal easily achieved. This is very well designed and thought out. So much so, that I now read many more food blogs because of the ease of importing recipes. [alert admin]

AppleJack 1.5 (Mac OS X)

Thanks

A BIG thanks to the developer for providing this. Your time is greatly appreciated! The number of times this program has resolved problems in the past is countless. Great product. [alert admin]

No longer useable

Originally a good product, but now primarily unusable. Moving to a new (Leopard/Intel) computer, I am unable to import the old data file, nor can I import recipes individually using either the recipe format or text. (Program crashes.) Emails to the developers go unanswered, even though I was a paid user. Disappointing. [alert admin]

MailTags 1.2.2 (Mac OS X)

1.2.2 update - thumbs up

1.2.2 seems to eradicate any freezing issues for me. As in my review previously, this is a "must have" product. [alert admin]

Marine Aquarium 2.6.0rc2 (Mac OS X)

Upgrade Registration Problem Solved

If your upgrade key isn't accepted, make sure the new version of the screensaver is placed in the same folder as the orginal. In other words, you can't have the old one in the system library and the new one in the user library. [alert admin]

iComment 3.0 (Mac OS X)

Indispensible

Repeating what was said in the other reviews... well done, and necessary if you wish to integrate commenting. Paid a shareware fee because it was well worth it! [alert admin]

iHam on iRye 2.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

iTunes stops on occasion...

Great app, and I appreciate the time and efforts of the developer. On slight bug; when running iHam, my iTunes will occasionally pause by itself. It always will start again when I click play again, but I'm not sure why it puases in the first place. Overall, a great app though. [alert admin]

MacSudoku 2.2.2 (Mac OS X)

Best Sudoku app for solving yourself

There are a number of Sudoku apps for Mac, each with its own pros and cons. For solving puzzles yourself, rather than having the computer do it for you, this is my choice as the best. The program has a very workable method for marking in possible choices, and has been very stable for me. [alert admin]

Just tried YummySoup, and it imported the files flawlessly.

Still supporting?

I've also received no responses. Looks like the site's been dormant for quite some time... yet they look like they're still selling their now apparently unsupported program.

Upgrade route?

I've just emailed with that question. We'll see what we find out. I suggest others email asking for an upgrade price, also.

Very Good, but...

Bulky tabs? They can be resized, and showing them in the List" view (or whatever it's called) makes them even smaller.

Missing something...

Never mind! I looked at the menu extra quickly, thought it was exactly the same as the the app's menu, and didn't notice the one difference... capturing the clipboard, of course! Not one of my brighter moments... ;)

Beige G3 tips?

Odd... my Astra 2200 has worked with VueScan and SCII for quite some time, with no need to do any tinkering. I don't use a terminator. Good luck! Andy
