Groupcal 3.94 (Mac OS X)
All of these good reviews are obviously from people who have not used groupcal for very long. The app used to barely work at all in it's early days, and now I'm told it won't be until 1st quarter 2008 before it's Leopard compatible! This is totally unacceptable. Will some decent developer please make an app to sync exchange to iCal? Please? One that actually works and is updated to work with OS updates within a couple weeks instead of months...or longer... MediaCentral 2.2 (Mac OS X)
I cannot read the names of MANY of my files because the font size is just too big. Many PC home theater apps have the file name scroll if it is too large to be displayed. I can't play my media if I don't know what I'm playing! Front Row also suffers from this problem. Any solutions out there? One more thing - the interface for media central is just, well, ugly. Many of the competing mac home theater apps just look much nicer (even if they are feature limited). [alert admin]

beaTunes 0.8 (Mac OS X)
but it's VERY SLOW and not too responsive. Seeing lots of beachball action just trying to do....well, anthing! And this is on a dual 2ghz g5 - Also not very intuitive...had to poke around a bit before figuring out what was happening. The tag fixing feature is extremely cool however, so hopefully the other features can be simplified, or at least sped up for the next release. [alert admin]

DropCopy 1.2 (Mac OS X)
at least not for me. Doesn't transfer in either direction between two dual g5s on my network. already checked for firewall issues with my router. I could really use something like this.... [alert admin]

iPhoto Batch Enhancer 2.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Doesn't seem to work with iPhoto 6.0.4
No window comes up....app launches, then nothing. Would love to use this, and will certainly donate when this is fixed. [alert admin]

Groupcal 3.15 (Mac OS X)
I have not gotten GroupCal 3.15 to succesfully sync once! I have tried about 20 times now... Here's a SHORT LIST of the many problems: 1 - Event sync stalls - whether at 20 items or 200 - stalls and doesn't recover. 2 - When it does finish (after a force quit and restart), it never writes any events to iCal, EVER 3 - Re-reading calendars in GroupCal sometimes deletes all iCal calendars. I appreciate that they're putting out new versions, it's just that not a single one has worked for me, not once. [alert admin]

Groupcal 3.01 (Mac OS X)
Ok, I got the task syncing to work, and event syncing as well, but the time zones are wrong! Sets every event to UTC, so all of my events show at the wrong time! Version 2.5 didn't do this... How do you screw up something so bad that used to work fine? [alert admin]

Groupcal 3.01 (Mac OS X)
waited for this update after paying for my upgrade for a non-working program - upgraded to another non-working version, and guess what? The few bug fixes they mention with 3.01 AREN'T FIXED! Task syncing doesn't work - in fact, now event syncing just hung for 20 minutes before I force quit it. Terrible. Don't waste your money on this trash. I'm sure they've got another fix coming "in a few weeks" [alert admin]

Groupcal 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Upgraded from 2.5, which was working fine except for the timestamps it littered my exchange calendar with everytime it syced. 3.0 is terrible. My tasks are no longer syncing, and my first sync of a calendar resulted in duplicates (with totally wrong times - 7pm event became 1:30am, etc.). And of course the timestamps are still there... Now I have duplicates of about half my events in iCal and exchange, all with the wrong time! $20 on top of $65 for an app that still sucks - but has no competition! Fun! [alert admin]

TechTool Pro 4.0.6 (Mac OS X)
Attempting to create e-drive cause kernel panic (10.4.3). Now my drive is screwed! Gonna try disk warrior to fix. AVOID THIS PROGRAM. I'm deleting and won't be using again. [alert admin]
