Koi Pond 2.0 (iPhone)

Excellent!

Totally wonderful little "application" priced perfectly. One request: I would love it if the koi came in a few different sizes. Thanks! [alert admin]

backuplist+ 4.0 (Mac OS X)

Seems unreliable

I finally gave up on this tool after using it for a few months to keep several large folder hierarchies backed up on a second drive. It often seemed to be doing more work than I would have expected given the sometimes very small deltas between source and destination. Files that had not changed would be unexpectedly copied and set to the current date. And after running it the two folder did not always agree on size. So I simply came to not trust it. The configuration for each folder appeared to become corrupted over time, necessitating their deletion and recreation. Finally there was not enough feedback during or after the backup to know what was going on. After some more testing and evaluation, I purchased Synk Standard last week and have been very happy since. YMMV [alert admin]

Actually...works OK

In defense of this product, it does do what is says it does. The key is that you don't select the barcode type manually. It seems to determine this and the validity of the barcode for you based on the numbers you type in. What I was really looking for was something that validated whether the barcode I generated then decoded to the ISBN I used to create it.... [alert admin]

AJA Data Rate Calculator 1.0.2b11 (Mac OS X)

It should be possible to set arbitrary HH:MM:SS TRT

Seems useful but it really should allow time to be specified in HH:MM:SS. The pull-down list of "canned" running times (e.g .1 minute, 30 minutes, 1 hour etc) make this tool more or less identical to a table - ala what's printed in the Aja Io manual. [alert admin]

SpamSlam 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Unlist this non-product

OK...they've finally pissed me off enought to make a stink in publc. The damn thing keeps crapping out on me and support is non existant. My recommendation: this listing should be removed from Version Tracker. Highly recommended to AVOID. [alert admin]

SpamSlam 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)

ilesa support MIA. Is this product dead?

I've been using this product since Feburary '04. Support was marginal until recently when it appears to have become non-existent. Filtering etc works well enough for my tastes but numerous GUI rendering problems are making me consider alternatives. I frequently have to kill and restart to recover. I would not recommend purchasing until it's determined whether there's any future plans for support and bug fixing. Sorry Ilesa! [alert admin]

From the developer's web site:

This is from the developer's web site:

"Remember that backuplist only looks two levels deep when comparing files for backup (to save time) . This just means that if you select a folder in your list for backup, "backup list" compares every item in that folder with the corresponding item (if there is one) in your "Mybackup" folder and copys the item only if it has been updated since last backup. But, it won't go into…

What software are you refering to?

Don't see signs of what you might be talking about. The only product I see is something called Poster Print 2 and a game dev environment called Seedamm X++.
