Zipeg 2.7.1 (Mac OS X)

Great utility

drag an archive to Zipeg, preview a file from inside the archive or simply pull it out to extract - no manual needed, fast and reliable [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5570 (Mac OS X)

No problems so far

I´ve and all of my customers never had problems as described in the other comments here. Parallels is by far the most advanced and comfortable VM on Mac today. If your system is ok and you have 2 GB RAM it will run perfectly. Btw info2227: You should not try to install it on an iBook ;) [alert admin]

Google Desktop 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)

Useless

After 12 hours of indexing (now 465.000 files, still not finished) and testing I cannot find a reason for this product. The all-in-one aspect is good, but the drawbacks are less fine. Slow indexing, huge memory and heavy cpu usage, ugly interface. I prefer Spotlight for local files and maybe Google or a metacrawler for internet searches. Google Desktop should use the existing Spotlight index. Like to see the answer from Apple to Google Desktop ; ) [alert admin]

ATIccelerator II 1.0.6b (Mac OS X)

Great as always

Gives every ATI user a reliable +10% more of grafics power. Most cards crash over +25% so take +10% and you are on the right side even when playing your latest game in a hot summer night. With +10% I had never a problem on different Macs. Read the manual before going over +10% or you will possibly brake your card!! [alert admin]
