TubeTV 0.6 (Mac OS X)
Great little program. Works like a charm. The requirements say you need the Perian plug in (free) so make sure you download and install that first (it prompts and directs you to that web site during installation.) [alert admin]

Spark 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I've tried several other keyboard shortcut apps. before (can't remember the names of them) and have finally settled on this one as this is the best in my opinion. [alert admin]

Why not just create image file with password?
Why not just create image file and protect it with a password? It'll be visible but others can't access it. Easier than hiding folders, IMHO. [alert admin]

Free Backup 3.1 (Mac OS 9)
up Preferences. There will always be problems, even using the Finder to copy a whole folder of preferences. I've tried to copy the System folder (just using the Finder to drag the System folder to another disk) and it sometimes fails, usually when copying a preference. I guess it's because the system writes to the preference files at unexprected moments. [alert admin]

The readme specifically says that this will not work on Airport. RTFM.

Whoa, you tried a new application on files without a backup? Consider this a lesson.
