The lite version just makes an exact copy of the palm directory on the card. You can then use filemanager to copy any individual file back to the device (and overwrite the devices version) which is very handy if you ever make a mistake and save the changes in an app or for example a game such as spacetrader.. Also if your devices memory is lost via hardreset or batt runs dead flat for long enough, then you can just run backuplite and click restore to device, wait a minute or two and you're up and running again. Pretty simple but effective. [alert admin]
