EndNote 9.0 (Mac OS X)
No dice with version 9 over SMB (Samba)
At work we store EndNote files on a fileserver and connect our OS X machines via SMB (Samba). Trying to save an Endnote file on the server with version 9 results in file corruption. The reponse from tech support was "On a Macintosh, it's likely that an SMB connection to the file server is not going to work well with EndNote 9 because of synchronous file access issues." We are working around the problem using AFP (netatalk), but it is a pain. I hope they can eliminate the current multiple-file storage method in the future! [alert admin]

Very good but with limitations 
This is a very good program, but if you have more than one field of the same kind (e.g. two mobile phone numbers for someone, which Address Book supports) you can only get one of them exported. Also, there are other (less commonly used) fields that are not exportable. Otherwise, a great little utility. [alert admin]
