Papyrus 12.56 (Mac OS X)

Best WP on the market

A first class WP. I recently bought Microsoft Office 8 does not compare with this at half the price. Papyrus is fast, it has not crashed on me and creates exceptionally speedy Tables of Contents and indexes and you can make notes in linked databases, which is all writers want. Support is improving. It is very simple to export it to Word. [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 6.0.1b4 (Mac OS X)

Excellent support

I had a problem with this software, it simply would not copy my address book. However the tech support I got while a bit slow, it takes about 12 hours to get an answer, was excellent they kept going until they got it right. In my case it was a question of resetting the sync history. (I am a Limey, I have no connection whatsoever with the company) [alert admin]

Mellel 2.2.5 (Mac OS X)

Stodgy

Not a patch on Papyrus the German word processor that does everything Word does but about 10 times as quick. It is available in English. I have no financial interest in Papyrus although the latter's support is bad to non existent. [alert admin]

Papyrus 12.56 (Mac OS X)

Poor support

It is a good programme but the support is non existent. I have tried over and over again to get answers to various questions but it is rare to get an answer at all. Is there a user group anywhere for Papyrus ? [alert admin]

DataViz MacLinkPlus Deluxe 16.000 (Mac OS X)

Horrible

This is not a good programme. I would like it to translate old Paperport files but it won‘t and a lot more. Certainly would not pay money for itas I have already bought it. Bit like buying your car every year. [alert admin]

It works well, and customer support is the best I have found..

They don’t reply to my e mails I have tried twice over the past week to find out from them why it would take two days to shred my 40GB disk free space. Nothing.
