3ivx D4 4.5.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Used 3ivx with DivX Doctor II and was able to very quickly "fix" an AVI (turning it into a Mov file). The resulting file plays now on my G3 (450mhz) iMac when the AVI was jerky and unwatchable. If you have a slower, older G3 Mac, you MUST get this and DivX Doctor. I have OS X 10.4.8 and have had no problem with the codec at all. [alert admin]

DivX Doctor II 2.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I downloaded this and the 3ivx codec, and was able to convert AVI to Mov very easily and quickly. The resulting Mov was able to run on my G3 450mhz iMac when the original AVI was jerky and wouldn't play. I have OS X 10.4.8, and if you follow the directions, it all works fine. Thanks for a great, free product! [alert admin]

Cyberduck 2.3.3 (Mac OS X)
Worked for me right out of the box. And when I contacted the author for a version that was Jaguar compatible, he replied within 12 hrs with version 2.3.3. Very very happy! Only minor glitch was a scary error message on uploading about being unable to CHMOD the file permissions. Not sure why this is there, but the upload worked fine. [alert admin]

Not sure what could be causing that. Can you tell me what happens? Does it not launch or launch and crash? If you have a crash log or console messages, that would be helpful. Works fine in 10.4.9, and was developed across 10.4.6 to 10.4.9, so I'm not sure what the problem is. What sort of system extensions do you have?

You're correct, in that you CAN save emails in RTF format and it will clump them all together in a single file. However, I dislike thumbing through the RTF looking for the message I want. By saving the files as individual text files, I can zip through the file names (which are the subject lines) and find what I'm after faster. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. Export Messages is not intended…

I have had a few sparse reports of this, usually from Tiger users. Works fine on my machine (450 mhz G3 iMac), though I admit dragging items in Applescript can be a bit slow. Nitewing '98

I wrote this on a 450mhz G3 iMac with only 192mb of memory, and the 8-disk play works fine for me. Not sure what is up with your iBook, but something else is going on there. Nitewing '98
