Carbon Copy Cloner 3.1 (Mac OS X)
just cloned a g5 imac. it was about 2/3rds the speed of 3.01 going to a local drive via fw400. anyone else notice? hopefully just a blip. amazing product, either way. looking forward to new rsync use [alert admin]

if you're running on intel, be sure it's not set to run this app in rosetta. it makes virtue desktop repeatedly ask for password/ auth. get info, uncheck rosetta, fixed it for me. [alert admin]

this suite is pretty darn good. floating graphics or some complex things are not perfect yet. and in my situation, i live without them pretty easily. we really neeed to break away from microsoft's stranglehold on productivity apps. [alert admin]

i'm sure this is a great program, but i need some help to get it going. i have a few dual g5's mostly idle, and i want to seti it up. but what is the "run line" and "load line"? i used "/Applications/SETI@home_OSX.app/Contents/MacOS/SETI@home_OSX", but that doesn't seem to do anything... plus do i need to do anything to get it to run, or just launching the seticntl with th eright command lines shoudl do it? i've read all…

earthsaver, no, they say they will not do that. their reasoning is that if it runs as a non screensaver it will work even when no user is logged in. in lab siutations the log in screen sits for hours, and that can be work time.
