Live 3.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I've been working in electronic music for almost 6 years. I was a huge cubase fan and even nuendo. As a composition tool everything starts with live and a dare say it will soon end with live. These guys know their *censored*. In combination with reason I can't think of two better production tools. I'm surprised they don't ask for more money. They have truely changed the face of music and not just electronic music. They have brought electronic music back to the freeform. As fast as you can concieve it it can be done. With live ... I think jazz musicians would turn over in their graves happy to know as fast as you feel it it can be expressed. [alert admin]

BIAS Peak DV 3.11 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
fo the basic functions of making loops in peak DV is absent. Their are many more functions that seem to be disabled in Peak DV which means this is a Crippled App. I think if your going to market a different product at a different price point then make the effort to take out the functions that aren't available I spent a large amount of time trying to figure out how to use those functions only to realize thay are disabled. Peak in and of it self is a solid program and one of the few on Audio editors on OSX. if you can afford the price skip LE and DV. [alert admin]
