Gothic Rapidweaver Theme 3.0.0 (Mac OS X)

Need a new name

The name Gothic doesn't do this justice. It will probably turn people off thinking black and white and medieval. What you have here is something I needed a few weeks ago; a theme with customizable graphics and 3 columns. Think of a name to sell that. That's the strength in this theme. [alert admin]

RapidBlog 1.32 (Mac OS X)

An excellent blogging tool

I have never had a blog until I bought RapidBlog which works with RapidWeaver. It is extremely easy to add, update, and maintain a blog from within RapidWeaver. Best of all, when I'm on the road I can update directly with Blogger and the changes will be synched in RapidBlog the next time I publish my site.

For a future, hopefully near future, release, I would like to see an option to display the dates in the sidebar by year instead of month. Also, I found that it displays every month even though there are no entries for that month. It's a minor annoyance but not enough to downgrade it.

Great work Loghound!!! [alert admin]

BOINC 5.2.8 (Mac OS X)

Messed Up Version....

I installed 5.2.5 yesterday and it worked great except the Preferences option was always greyed out. I was running 3 projects just a few hours ago. Now with this upgrade, I don't see any projects, BOINC won't connect over the internet, and Preferences is still greyed out. Basically, it won't do anything. BOINC FAQ's state that you don't need to be online once your projects are downloaded so why doesn't it find my projects and continue to run them? [alert admin]

Widget Television VF1 3.1b (Mac OS X)

AMAZING...

What an amazing use for a widget. This is great! I just wish it had more of the basic TV stations such as WB, NBC, Weather, etc. Maybe they are just not available as streaming video yet. Keep thinking of improvements for this as it is awesome for a first release. [alert admin]

ShowVolumeFragmentation 0.63 (Mac OS X)

Aside from identifying fragments....

What do you do about the fragments that it fines? Will it defragment the disk? That would be useful. [alert admin]

OSXplanet 0.83 (Mac OS X)

The best desktop I ever had!

This is absolutely the best desktop software around. My only complaint is that you can't seem to use multiple monitors with it. I think that would be a great feature. Different images on different monitors just like the System Preferences Desktop Control Panel works. [alert admin]

PocketMac Pro 3.4.4 (Mac OS X)

Works for me

I have been using this software for about 2 years now. Occassionally it may hang up and I have to force quit (less and less as product has matured) but it does everything they say it does. The only real problems I had were with its stability...sometimes.

Where it needs work is its stability plus I would like to see a window popup to allow me to choose it the mac or the pocket pc is correct instead of setting it in the preferences. Sometimes I may have changes on both so they are both right for different records.

Hope this helps. [alert admin]

I get it now.

You took the words right out of my mouth. This guy is just an affiliate using the Travelocity engine under World Choice Travel. If you have your own website you can save yourself some money and sign up as an affiliate yourself at wctravel.com. This way you will get the money back for any travel booked.

Problem was PEBCAK...

I had the same problem with MenuCalendarClock and had to quit it. Since these apps feed off iCal data it must tiie some iCal resources up even though iCal isn't open.

Improvable

I see you have already implemented the drag-and-drop feature. Thanks!!! One problem is when I dragged all of my bookmarks over they were in reverse order. You probably want to fix that. Is it possible to read the bookmarks from Safari's database of bookmarks without having to do a drag-and-drop? This way Concierge would be updated real time along with the Safari bookmark folder.

Open question to everyone

"grouping the historical bookmarks under their respective sites/domains (like auto-focus) and then sort them by time within the groups."

EXACTLY!!!
