On-Target Reports 5.1 (Mac OS X)
This product has no MySQL connection as well as several other SQL servers. I have been unable to try this product at all due to the lack of connectivity to mainstream SQL servers. [alert admin]

PoolStars 1.3.0 (Mac OS X)
Bounces forever in the dock and checking its process, it just continues to eat memory. More and more and the app never starts. [alert admin]

PowerSaveUPS 1.208 (Mac OS X)
I still have the same issues, app wants to do a force shutdown every time, even with no UPS connected. I also notice now that when it asks for my administration password, the buttons do not work. I either have to enter the password and press the enter/return key or just do the same without entering the password. Is this app developed for Intel only? I am trying it with a Dual G5, a Cyber Power CP1200AVR UPS and OS 10.5.5 [alert admin]

PowerSaveUPS 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I would suggest not even trying this software out as is. At first launch, if it does not detect your UPS, it will force shutdown and any open apps will be force terminated and next run will reflect a crash. You cannot get to its prefs without forcing into the app. The prefs are less than adequate. Usability is terrible. You must know Applescript to do anything worthwhile and yet they still want you to pay for it. [alert admin]

Logitech Harmony Remote 7.5.0 (Mac OS X)
I had already ran the update before anyone had posted comments here and just never used it. Now that I decided to read the comments, I found the same issue. It came up first asking if I wanted the autoupdate and a "NO" answer says the app will quit. I chose to let it go automatically. Why? If not, then the app will quit so why bother asking? I think the developers at Logitech are smoking crack. Anyway, after it fired up, I too got the same blank window. I closed it, checked the prefs, of which there isn't much there worth a darn. Then clicked over to my desktop, all while the Harmony software is still running. Then I clicked back to it, Harmony, from the Dock. The window appeared as I hoped and I clicked in it right away. I am not sure if that click, or just reselecting the windowless app, did the trick but I got the login screen and it seems to be working now. I still agree with you all that this is the worst piece of software, ever! It is in no way user friendly, easy to use, flexible, fast, ... need I go on. Logitech used to be a Mac friendly company that had good products supported by the Mac. Lately, it seems as though, they have "given in" to the Bill Gates line of thinking that its all about money and who cares about everything else. So they promote the "Windows" environment and leave out the Mac. Funny as it seems, Microsoft has better Mac support than a lot of companies. I am a Microsoft "HATER" by the way. Try out what I did and see if you get to use your software to program your remote once again. Hopefully Logitech will REDO this app to a real Mac app. [alert admin]

MediaLink 1.32 (Mac OS X)
This update fixed the slow listing and streaming. Folders list almost as fast as it scrolls full speed. Loaded a folder with over 100 movies and scrolled to the last one as fast as it would. I then chose this file for playback and streaming started within a reasonable time at full Dolby Digital. This is once again my choice for UPnP media server. [alert admin]

MediaLink 1.31 (Mac OS X)
Since the update to 1.3, the functionality has degraded greatly. It loads file listings so slowly that it fails to read all the files in a folder. Even though it has loaded some of the files in a list, it still fails to load the files for another long wait period. The addition on QuickLook content has caused the entire MediaLink server to be so slow and incomplete, its useless. I paid for version 1.2, which worked very well. Now with the updates. I want a refund! I used to use this app to stream movies to my PS3 to watch in the living room. Now I am back to using my laptop as this mwthod no longer is reliable. [alert admin]

MediaLink 1.3 (Mac OS X)
It needs more settings in the preferences. I purchased MediaLink several updates ago and it had problems, which I'm yet to pin on MediaLink. Now with the latest update, v1.3, it takes me forever to start watching a movie. I discovered that due to the QuickLook addition, the server is trying to get the icons and with the number of files I have to stream, its a nightmare. If there are features added that could potentially cripple one user yet most others are fine, it would be a simple preference addition to have the option of using the new feature or not. Still a wonderful app and happy I purchased it. Now back to the testing to see if some of the files that had problems before will work better. [alert admin]

Visibility 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried to launch the app from the mounted image as well as from the app placed into my apps folder and no go. It crashes every single time so I rate it poor. [alert admin]

Strange you would say such a thing when my USB GPs works with my Mac just fine. I have used it with MacGPS Pro, Route Buddy and Google Earth Pro just to name a few. As far as Apple making a driver for it, there is no 'driver' needed, the software just has to use the existing USB port driver and communicate using the Garmin protocol as these other software packages do. I also have…

I understand this is not the proper place for this info but it is in direct response to IMArvutidAS's post regarding his G3. I have a Rev A Beige G3/266 with 380M RAM running OS X Server, sometimes client, both version 10.2.6. When I startup to X Server, my startup drive is an 80G IDE. When client, I startup off a 9G SCSI. Both drives are larger than 8G and each has only 1…
