MediaLink 1.32 (Mac OS X)
This update fixed the slow listing and streaming. Folders list almost as fast as it scrolls full speed. Loaded a folder with over 100 movies and scrolled to the last one as fast as it would. I then chose this file for playback and streaming started within a reasonable time at full Dolby Digital. This is once again my choice for UPnP media server. [alert admin]

MediaLink 1.31 (Mac OS X)
Since the update to 1.3, the functionality has degraded greatly. It loads file listings so slowly that it fails to read all the files in a folder. Even though it has loaded some of the files in a list, it still fails to load the files for another long wait period. The addition on QuickLook content has caused the entire MediaLink server to be so slow and incomplete, its useless. I paid for version 1.2, which worked very well. Now with the updates. I want a refund! I used to use this app to stream movies to my PS3 to watch in the living room. Now I am back to using my laptop as this mwthod no longer is reliable. [alert admin]

MediaLink 1.3 (Mac OS X)
It needs more settings in the preferences. I purchased MediaLink several updates ago and it had problems, which I'm yet to pin on MediaLink. Now with the latest update, v1.3, it takes me forever to start watching a movie. I discovered that due to the QuickLook addition, the server is trying to get the icons and with the number of files I have to stream, its a nightmare. If there are features added that could potentially cripple one user yet most others are fine, it would be a simple preference addition to have the option of using the new feature or not. Still a wonderful app and happy I purchased it. Now back to the testing to see if some of the files that had problems before will work better. [alert admin]

Visibility 1.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried to launch the app from the mounted image as well as from the app placed into my apps folder and no go. It crashes every single time so I rate it poor. [alert admin]

OSS 3D 1.02 (Mac OS X)
After installing to iTunes 4.7.1, iTunes would crash right efter launch. After removing the OSS plug-in, iTunes launched as normal. Note: I am using an Airport Express to play music on my stereo and could have something to do with the crash at launch. [alert admin]

Haxial Organizer 1.070 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Badly done app. The gui is horrible, The means of managing things is poor. I wouldn't want this app even if it were freeware. A definite addition to my reject list. [alert admin]

Fire 0.32.m (Mac OS X)
Is the file labeled incorrectly or did he just forget to change the version number for the compiled app? When you select About Fire from the Fire menu, it says ver 0.32.j as well as the finder shows the same in Get Info. What's up with this? The disk image is labeled 0.32.m but the app contained in it isn't. [alert admin]

Strange you would say such a thing when my USB GPs works with my Mac just fine. I have used it with MacGPS Pro, Route Buddy and Google Earth Pro just to name a few. As far as Apple making a driver for it, there is no 'driver' needed, the software just has to use the existing USB port driver and communicate using the Garmin protocol as these other software packages do. I also have…

I understand this is not the proper place for this info but it is in direct response to IMArvutidAS's post regarding his G3. I have a Rev A Beige G3/266 with 380M RAM running OS X Server, sometimes client, both version 10.2.6. When I startup to X Server, my startup drive is an 80G IDE. When client, I startup off a 9G SCSI. Both drives are larger than 8G and each has only 1…
