M-Audio FireWire Audiophile 1.8.4-3 (Mac OS X)
The M-Audio site lists this as the same driver released in June 2008. IT is the same so WTF? From the M-Audio site: FireWire Audiophile 06/26/2008 1.8.4-3 FireWire_OSX_1.8.4-3.dmg And yes, their drivers STINK! Slow to issue updates and when they do they don't work. You CANNOT hot swap M-Audio devices of they fry your components, including your computer and all attached Firewire device ports (at least!) No, this is no new release, it is the same garbage driver that's been out over a year and won't run without a startup error every time. Never again, M-Audio! [alert admin]

MyPopBarrier 2.6.0 (Mac OS X)
Used to use it... but Mail also does this
From the mail Mail window, on the bottom left screen, select the star drop down and "get account info." You can select (also CMD-select for non-contiguous items) mail on the sever and remove it from the server. Works on PPC and Intel machines. [alert admin]

Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Downloaded several times but this update claims it cannot find a my early 2009 Mac Book (white) adapter. Tried with the adapter connected to a display as well with the same results. We are loosing the mouse when connecting to a smartboard and have to reboot to get it back. [alert admin]

Offsite storage is nothing new and prices continue to drop. These Zumo folks don't say ANYTHING about how secure you data is and frankly I would be very cautious about uploading the contents of my machine to an unsecure location. To quote Monty Python: Run away... run away!!! [alert admin]

MOTU Digital Performer 6.02 (Mac OS X)
With the exception of a few 3rd party plug-ins not working (appears to be PPC or Intel dependent) this release seems quite stable and much faster than recent versions. BTW, that DP 3 logo at the top of this page is a little out of date... still, it is nostalgic. :) [alert admin]

Safari AdBlock 0.3.2 (Mac OS X)
Once installed, it says there is a new version, but the new version won't install. Perhaps an Intel only (I'm on a PPC). Otherwise does what it says and does it well. [alert admin]

Cures to permissions problems... lets see, what cold that be? Um... Disk Utility? Installed on a G5 PPC and Macbook. All good. There were a lot of permissions problems. Disk Utility snagged 'em.

Who needs hourly backups? I do for one. I write music all day long and a lost hour is more than a lost hour sometimes. It is several minutes of music that connects to the next, sometimes for 106 instruments. Other times it is an audio recording that cannot be replaced. Save, save, save - of course. But TM has served me very well in the studio and in many more ways than I can relate…

Not really. Detour did much more than mute. It routed to various outputs and you could set different volume levels for each app. I miss this too and would pay a lot to get it back.

This review sounds suspiciously gratuitous... Maybe it's in code!

A second re-boot is fairly common with recent updates. If you start running before that, the system may well go ahead and do the second reboot without you! :)

Try DETOUR (shareware) and it should send the audio to the FW device. It is discontinued, I think, but you can still find it here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/20128

Frankly, I prefer hand processed payments to auto payments. Not always practical, but for a smaller operation perfectly acceptable. Besides, you are allowed to go to dinner Christmas weekend :) as long as you;re back in the office to stoke the fire on Christmas morning EARLY!!!! Just basedon this post, I will try the program. Sounds like you have some happy customers.

Same deal. Also the Security Update would not run on my 10.3.5 system. Maybe because I'm not running Remote Desktop? I ran the stand alone iTunes and QTime updates from the Version TRacaker links and they seem fine... The Apple discussions web site also has users mentioning that Software Update does not show these 3 versions... MM Maybe the Apple server was programmed by Diebold?
