SpeedUpMyPC 3.5 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
I've been and still am an avid Mac freak, but started to work with PC's about 9 months ago. Working with CAD programs and my version of Windows being XP. I admit swearing, not once in a while, but every day. But that's a different story. Using Autocad and Office programs my PC tended to slow down a lot. I tried a couple of programs and found this one being one of the best. Like I wrote I tried just a couple, so if there are better ones... letme know. The program takes a while to scan the disks in the morning, but after that I don't have any problems. My PC runs even faster than the others in the office. And they are all the same. Odly when starting SpeedUpMyPC up I can't do anything 'cause I keep getting the message "Please select at least one drive". And I find no way other to get rid of this message by restarting the program. But it's still worth my recommendation! [alert admin]
