SlimBatteryMonitor 1.4 (Mac OS X)

Anyone else having trouble with 10.4.8?

I love this utility. I've been using it for quite a while, but I can't get it to work with OS X 10.4.8. Am I doing something wrong? [alert admin]

Download Wizard 1.5 (Mac OS X)

Works well for me…

Strangemind— I've noticed that if you have multiple incidences of a particular file, you do not want to delete the partial downloads until the file has completely downloaded. This is when I have had DW complete a download and not been able to find the file. (I sometimes pause a download and quit DW on really large files — I only have dialup. I can't stay online all the time.) My wishlist is simple: I'd like to have a keyboard shortcut or a Toolbar icon to access the Preferences. [alert admin]

What happened to bandwidth control?

But that didn't really answer the whole question. Yes, you can get the Slider back on the Queue Window, but that doesn't bring ability to adjust the Bandwidth Throttle in the Dock. I'd like to be able to choose to put that feature in the Contextual Menu along with the ability to deselect most of the other features.

DVD zones

Just be very aware that should the process fail, neither Apple, nor the developer will repair or replace the drive for free. Many people have successfully modified their PowerBooks and iBooks. (I will neither admit, nor deny, having modified my 'Books.) I'm sure if you do a…

Re: my complaints

Trance— Have you tried changing the Preferences? I'd recommend that you uncheck the last item in the General Tab (Quit application when transfers complete). And if you go to the Advanced Tab, Max Active Transfers allows you to select "None", 1, 2, 3, or even up to 15. This should solve two of your complaints.
