iKey 2.1b1 (Mac OS X)

Aaaargh - still no access to submenus of submenus

Geee. I'd put off moving to 2.x because I had made workarounds with 1.07. Even though the old version *mostly* works with Tiger, today I finally gave 2.1b1 a look only to discover that you *still* can't access sub-submenus. The new interface is indeed better, (tho still somewhat obtuse) and the app has clearly grown up, and if it weren't for limited sub-submenu access I would definitely upgrade. I was never very fond of the 1.07 interface anyway. [alert admin]

Silk 2.0.6 (Mac OS X)

Help us, ObiWan UnsaneOnes!

Help us, ObiWan UnsaneOnes! Tiger just isn't Tiger without SILK to smooth things out for those of us who love Eudora and other hits of the 90's. Have you ever seen Eudora without Silk??? Oh my, it's such a horrible sight that I wouldn't ask you to. Please come to our aid and promote SILK to the top of your priority list for Tiger compatibility! :) We are those faithful who have registered several of your products and always defend the Unsane Kingdom against all blasphemers. You would be kind in your benevolence to us, and may be pleased to know that among us there are many who would pay all over again for the happy return of the lost Princess Silk. Seriously!!! Thanks for your consideration. [alert admin]

Bee Docs' Timeline 0.76 (Mac OS X)

Well I would like to try it, but installer is creepy

I generally don't put beta apps on my startup volume, they go in another place. This is one of the very few apps that insists that it be only installed to the startup volume. I won't do this, so guess I can't try it. Shame, because I've been looking for a good timeline app for years. [alert admin]

LaunchBar 4.0 (Mac OS X)

It's a beautiful thing

How to use the new feature "Open in Tabs" still unclear to me but I'll get it figured out. I echo Toby: "LB deserves the highest accolades." [alert admin]

iBeeZz 2.4.1 (Mac OS X)

I paid two days ago also, and no contact.

He may just be one guy, but this isn't the way to run even a small shop. Or the site should have a disclaimer that it may take a few days. My demo expires in three days! :( [alert admin]

gBrowser 1.5b22 (Mac OS X)

I so wish this was still in development

This was a great product that seems to have been left to die. Two years later I still haven't seen anything better, and it's a shame the developer is MIA. [alert admin]

ChronoSync 2.0.8 (Mac OS X)

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO

ChronoSync is the absolute boss. I have been trying to use an unholy amalgamation of Ibeezz, CronniX, Synk, and DropDMG to backup serially to an internal partition, a shared WinduhsXP volume and a DVDRW mounted on the XP machine. While those all seem to be great at portions of what I was trying to do, hardwiring them all together to work at all the right times resulted in a very brittle non-portable solution that was asking for trouble.

Thanks to the comprehensive application and the well-written docs, (with just the right amount of humour) I have accomplished all I want and more with ChronoSync.

Now I want compressable sparseimages, but that's certainly not in econ's domain! ;)

Kudos for a great, thoughtful application. I paid up within 24 hours. [alert admin]

AppRocket 1.2 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)

This is da BOSS

I'm a long time Mac user and was searching long for something to replicate the functionality of LaunchBar on OSX. After searching the main download sites in vain, heck I typed "LaunchBar on Windows" in Google and found a blog which raved about AppRocket. May I now rave as well. It's almost exactly like the original. Just bloody terrific. I never thought I'd be so lucky as to find the real thing on Windows. Thank you CandyLabs! Registered in less than an hour!!! :) [alert admin]

DEVONthink PE 1.9 (Mac OS X)

Long time user estatic with new version!

The 1.9 upgrade is bloody awesome. This is a great developer and the product is far superior to anything remotely in this category. The product spans so many categories and some which are undefined that any words to describe it fall flat. It's so far in the stratosphere compared to stickybrain it's ridiculous. CocoaNut would do well to reconsider. [alert admin]

SUB-submenus! That's the issue.

Sir, I *did* RTFM, and here's what it says: "iKey cannot currently see below the first level of submenus, and it works only with native Mac OS X applications that support accessi- bility. That means that it may not work with all native Mac OS X applications..." (page 99) and "iKey can look only one submenu deep with the Select Submenu Item command, so you may need to adjust how applications display menus (bookmark submenus in Web browsers,…
