iPassion Dock Separators 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Thanks... but....

They seem to work OK as long as you have your dock on the bottom (they look terrible with a vertical dock) but mostly to me they just seem like a HUGE waste of dock space. I find my dock apps by looking at the icons, not by their relationship to a line. Oh well, to each their own. [alert admin]

Goldfish Aquarium 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)

Looks cool!

The fish look totally real. I like the top view 'pond' the best! Very cool! Thanks! [alert admin]

Camino 0.8b (Mac OS X)

Still the best

I still think Camino is the best Browser ever for the Mac. Almost identical now to Safari I use them both constantly and silmutaneously. Fantastic program! So glad to see that development is continuing. Keep up the great work please! [alert admin]

TrailBlazer 0.51 (Mac OS X)

Great

Great, two one star ratings in a row just for one little pet peeve! This review is just to offset that last one! [alert admin]

LED Spectrum Analyser 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Greatlooking

I really like the way it looks once the colors are customized, but it uses way too much cpu for what it's doing. You should get together with some other software developers and figure out a way to make it do the same thing with a quarter of the processor power! It's very cool! [alert admin]

CosmoSaverX 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Yeah

I was going to say the same thing about the name... the real cosmosaver is a great screensaver by a real company. You'd better change the name of this one fast! As for this one,,, eh, it's had to criticize a bunch of pictures from NASA but that's all it is really. Nice, but leaves me wanting more! [alert admin]

Enjoy Milk 0.6 (Mac OS X)

Works fine for me!

Everything seem just fine here, although none of the 'effects' do anything for me except for the TV static one.... that is cool! At least you can turn the others off. Why don't you work on making that one even more realistic and smoother with less CPU and you'll really have something! [alert admin]

Subsume 2.3.0 (Mac OS X)

Too much CPU

Screensavers don't have to max out the CPU. In fact many of the best ones don't use that much CPU and all, but this one keeps it at 100% just to draw uberboring squares. What's the point of saving the screen if the whole computer catches fire in fifteen minutes. I think there should be an unwritten rule that screensavers can't use more than 25% CPU on the average year old Mac, maximum. [alert admin]

EarthBrowser 2.0 (Mac OS X)

Disappointed but I still want it.

I am very disappointed that the OpenGL that has been promised for years now has not appeared in the first major update to this program. The increased resolution sounds good though and the speed increase feels great. I'm actually interested in upgrading to the new version (although if I have to pay again when/if the OpenGL comes out I am going to really be steamed). I don't see anything on the website or here about an upgrade price and while I understand it might take a while to send out a thousand emails I know my email address has changed 3 times since I bought Earthbrowser so I don't expect a notification anyway. Why not post something here or on the site about it??? And complaining about VT reviews is just sad. People here are very honest and usually very accurate. Great software gets great reviews here, bad software gets bad reviews and mixed software such as Earthbrowser gets mixed reviews. [alert admin]

Works great in Panther!

I love it. Get's rid of that pesky Enter key once and for all! [alert admin]
