ezInvoice.com 3.0 (Mac OS X)
ezInvoice.com is software. It's web based software. Users create invoices and other documents, as well as use the included tools to perform other functions and tasks. I don't think it really can be described as a "Service". It's used like any other "Boxed" invoicing software and provides a similar feature set. It is, in fact, one of the first business productivity software applications created to be accessed with the internet. Before "Dot-Net", "AJAX", or "WebWare" were buzzwords, people were switching to ezInvoice.com from hard disk based invoicing software. Now, people are switching from "MS Word" to "Google Docs", and even Microsoft and Quicken offer web based software that competes with ezInvoice.com, as well as many others. It is likely that most all software will be accessed from the internet someday, and probably sooner than later. Here are a few reasons why. It's harder to steal, easier to deliver, more efficient to maintain, and easier for the end user to access. The listing on VersionTracker announced the release of the 3.0 version, which is a substantial upgrade. Feed 0.6.5 (Mac OS X)
I've never used an RSS app before so I decided to try one out to see if I really wanted one. I downloaded this app because it is a small download compared to some of the others, I liked the way the developer described the interface, and because it's free. I think this one fits the bill almost perfectly for me. It's fast, easy to use and provides the features I really wanted without overloading me with a cluttered interface that I really don't want to learn. It does still need a little work on the display of headlines, but at version 0.6.5, I can easily overlook this minor issue, and how can one complain when the price is accounted for. I expect the "Feed" icon will have a permanent home on my Dock and I look forward to seeing it improve. [alert admin]

ArtRage Macintosh 1.1 (Mac OS X)
This is a cool tool that is well worth the download if you like to play with paint programs. While it's still a little light on features, the interface design is just stunning. I found it a pleasure to use something that is so pretty to look at and well implemented. <p>I hope the developers keep working on this project and get the support to bring it to a commercial quality application. BBEdit 6.5.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
fine on my indigo iBook w/OS X 10.1.5 BBEdit is the tool I use most. Still the best there is in its class. But there is still a bug in the "Find All" browser window that annoys me. I use this feature quite a bit and I was hoping to see it fixed by now. Looks like they spent most their time on better integrating AppleScript. I'd like to see some stronger Perl support and a few more features like selecting text by columns and a button to execute a perl script from a web browser. [alert admin]
