Print Selection 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Does not work with Leopard/Safari, how to uninstall?
How do I uninstall this? I can't find a way to contact the developer and there are no options for uninstall. Help! It doesn't work, how do I get rid of it? [alert admin]

What is the point of this program? ![]()

What is the point of downloading and installing a program that is absolutely nothing more than a browser that accesses only one page? That's all this program is. It's a browser (just like Safari, Firefox, IE etc.) but all it accesses is gmail. In otherwords, what you see in Mailplane is the *exact same thing* you see when you access gmail from your web browser. There are one, MAYBE two interesting features, but everything else you can already do right in gmail... in your web browser... what is the point of having a second program running that does the EXACT same thing as another program??? I don't get it. It gets 5 stars for being slick, stable and well made. But it serves no purpose. it's just a mini brower, that's it. Why bother? Just open a new tab in your web browser, log into your gmail account and... you have the exact same thing. [alert admin]

Program does nothing. You start it, it says "pick a time" you enter one minute. Then one minute later program says "1 minutes is now over". So what? [alert admin]

Google Calendar Dashboard Widget 3.0 (Mac OS X)
It doesn't work. No matter how I pasted the XML feed into it, nothing. Blank. Waste of time and space. [alert admin]

7zX 1.6.4 (Mac OS X)
It "compressed" my file into a BIGGER file.
File full of pictures = 73.5 megs. "Compressed" file from 7zX = 76megs. WTF? What's the point of a "compression" program that makes a BIGGER file? Garbage. [alert admin]

DropDMG 2.8 (Mac OS X)
What do I NOT understand here?
OK, the file full of pics I want to compress is 73.5 megs. I drop it, a DMG is created and the DMG file is... 73.3 megs. Wow. I saved virtually NO space, there was virtually ZERO compression... why not just email the folder with the pics in it? How is the DMG file any better if it's virtually the SAME SIZE? Why is this called "compression" when no compression is happening? WTF? [alert admin]

iPodderX 3.0.3 (Mac OS X)
All download links take you to a website where the program is not offered for download. The one live download I could find downloads a non-mountable .dmg file. Useless. [alert admin]

Xcast 1.0b23 (Mac OS X)
So despite the lofty claim that this program will automatically download all content in a podcast.... actually it doesn't. I tried every setting, yet I still have to manually download every single MP3 from music podcasts. How is that an improvement over just doing it in iTunes? Oh yeah.... it's not. Pass [alert admin]

Exactly! What is the point of using a separate program to do something that you can already do in your web browser? I'm really befuddled at this.

Because the system pref shutdown/restart scheduler doesn't work? It certainly doesn't do a single thing on my system. I've tried it literally dozens of times and it has never once shut down or restarted my computer.
