Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 (Mac OS X)
Ever since I downloaded this internet browser plug in my Safari frequently crashes and the popup box says the problem is probably the flash player. I then uninstall and re-install the Adobe plug in and I get the same thing a little while later. I do not have this kernal crash with anything else. Does anybody else out there have this problem? Solitaire Forever 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Full Screen Mode Does Not Work
I upgraded to 1.3.1 and now find that it takes about 4 seconds to load whereas before it was instantaneous. Second, if I go into Full Screen Mode, the entire program locks up and I can't get out unless I hit Command-F again. Does anybody else have this problem? I'm using OS X 10.5.4. [alert admin]

Sorry but the Start Up Chime Mute Still Doesn't Work 
I tried what was written here in a number of different ways. Nothing stops my start up chime ringing loudly and clearly. You still need to fix the bug. This was one of my key reasons for using Mac Pilot!! Please look into this some more. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Mac OS X)
I have tried everything with the new Combo Updater to 10.4.11 for PPC but I can't get my Safari 3.0 to keep any Bookmarks. I eliminated AcidSearch 0.62 and Safari Extender 1.6.6--neither of which works yet with 10.4.11 and Safari 3.0 for PPC--but even when I import my Bookmarks from a copy on my external hard drive, even when I replace the username/Library/Safari/bookmarks.plst and the username/Library/preferences/com.apple.Safari.plst, even when I try the stand-alone download for the updater instead of the Software Update method, none of it seems to make any difference. I can't keep any Bookmarks. Does anybody out there have any other suggestions? [alert admin]

Versomatic Beta Build 29 (Mac OS X)
Needs a Secure Empty Trash Option
The product seems to fill a very important gap and I was very excited to use it. Unfortunately, even when you delete a file using Finder's Secure Empty Trash, the program saves the file without allowing you to securely delete it. This is too fundamental a problem for me. There must either be an option that the program will not save files that are deleted using the Secure Empty Trash or, if it is to be saved, then the saved file must have the option of a secure or multi-pass deletion. I also couldn't find where the saved files were kept. The user's manual should tell you where in the hard drive the saved files are. I have already e-mailed the programmer and he agreed that my suggestion is a good idea and he will try to incorporate it into the next revision whenever that comes out. I have now uninstalled the program--the uninstaller did not delete everything; for that I manually checked for everything using the Finder under Acertant and Versomatic and then used Secure Empty Trash. I look forward to the next revision but I can't recommend the current revision at this time. Also, the price seems a bit high. [alert admin]

WeatherMenu 3.7.4 (Mac OS X)
This was a fantastic product--when it worked. Unfortunately, for at least a week or two the software no longer updates. I wish the publisher would at least let us know what's going on. Until this problem is fixed, don't buy this software! [alert admin]

Absolute Backgammon 4.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I have played backgammon for many years and I find the rolls on this game to be anything but random. The author can say whatever he wants but I feel ripped off! It doesn't matter what level you set the game preferences, the computer almost always wins and does so with an unbelievable string of lucky rolls. I want my money back! [alert admin]

I just created a "dummy" account and that had the same problem. I can't save any website addresses and none show up under my bookmark icon in the bookmarks bar. Thus, it seems to be global and I haven't narrowed anything down. I am using DotMac Menu and AllBookmarks. Current Version No Longer Updates
I recently noticed the same problem--WeatherMenu no longer updates. It's stuck in the exact same weather forecast every day. The publisher should at least let us know what's going on. Don't buy this until the problem is fixed!
