ROUTE 66 Route USA 2004 3.6.0 build 4 (Mac OS X)
Best Mac Route and Moving Map Display I have seen. ![]()

I use Route 66 USA on a Powerbook G4 and my wife uses it on an iBook G4. Both are running Mac OS X 10.3.7. It works great for both of us. I have not had any problems with it at all. Both of us use Globalsat Bluetooth GPS receivers. I travel extensively throughout the United States and it has been fairly accurate. She has traveled in Canada and found it accurate there. Sometimes when searching for hotels it does show them in a different location than they actually are but it also provides a phone number so you can call on the cell phone and while looking at your map figure out how to get to the hotel. It is not as good a Street Atlas for Windows, but it is all there is for Macs running OS X. Maybe they will develop an upgrade soon, but so far all queries to them indicate nothing new. [alert admin]

A fantastic program with great potential! It installed with ease. Although appointment entry is not intuitive at this point, e-mail with the developers indicates a strong desire to listen to input and improve the program. Much stronger than iCal and a great 3 and 6 month calendar view. Holidays are an integral part of the program and unlike iCal do not require manual entry. I highly recommend the program. InTouch With 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)
InTouch since its 1.0 days. It is inexpensive and so easy to use. Cut and paste web reciepts, notes, you name it. Much more handy than any other address data base program I have seen. Hope date view or a link to iCal comes out soon. Great Job folks. Great Job. [alert admin]

I find it works perfectly on Tiger and the developer is very responsive. 6 stars.
