EyeTV 1.6 (Mac OS X)
It's great to see Elgato still improving the old USB EyeTV. I was about to get rid of it because the channel change delay has really gotten to me. This was a fantastic update that has breathed new life into my EyeTV USB. Thank you, Elgato!!! [alert admin]

Unison 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Why do people expect something for nothing?
Unison is a new program. Panic is a company that makes excellent software and stand by it. They also provide excellent customer support. That being said, I will repeat- Unison is a new program. Before you write it off, give it a chance to be improved. I am posting this as I see a new version has been released and it addresses a number of issues. People who complain about the price should be ignored. $25 is not a lot of money for fully functional software which, for better or worse, ultimately has no peer on the OS X platform. QuarkXPress is overpriced. $50 for a utliity like this would be pushing it, but $25 is not a lot for a polished product with active development. *I do not work for Panic and I don't know anyone there. I'm a very happy owner of Transmit- by far the best FTP client on any platform. [alert admin]

I manage the creation and sending of email newsletters for a number of clients and this is a very useful tool. The list management capabilities pick up where Maxbulk Emailer leaves off. I don't spam, I send quarterly newsletters to thousands of people that make up my clients' customer mailing lists. As far as spam is concerned, it's not going to get better any time soon- it's going to get worse. Programs like this are not a problem, and contribute little if anything to the overall spam problem. People like "Sleix" from 7/5/03 doesn't know what he/she is talking about. This is a good product with legitimate uses. [alert admin]

If you're running 10.3, DO NOT buy or install this program. We stupidly upgraded several machines to 10.3 and have lost significant productivity since we have no useful font management. Perhaps we were stupid for upgrading so fast- but that is beside the point- Panther has been out well over a month and this program is advertised as being *the* way to work with fonts. Until this program is fixed, it gets no positive feedback whatsoever. Extensis, get off your ass and fix this fuc*ing program already. I know I'm not the only office full of pissed off Extensis customers. [alert admin]

I installed it for use with my Siemens S56 as 3.12 supports it now. I could not get it to connect with my AT&T GPRS service. I read the documentation and verified my log in and other tech info with AT&T support. When I finally gave up, my Bluetooth is hosed. I can't sync or connect to any Bluetooth devices anymore. Oh well. [alert admin]

MaxBulk Mailer 2.9 (Mac OS 9)
Say goodbye to your CPU. I have an 800 name list, and it's CRAWLING on my 1ghz G4. 100% CPU usage and sending like at a rate of 0.35 messages per second. Nearly unusable! :( Other than that, this program is great. I've had no problems until now. Please fix! [alert admin]
