Peggle Deluxe 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
'Peggle' crashes a lot under Snow Leopard. [alert admin]

VLC media player 0.9.2 (Mac OS X)
VLC version 0.9.2 seems to have problems with '.avi' and '.ogg' files. It repeatedly crashes on my Intel iMac. It's a shame because older versions of VLC played just about anything flawlessly! I can't recommend this version. [alert admin]

LimeWire X 4.16.4 (Mac OS X)
'No Connection'? Blame it On your ISP!
If you have never been able to connect, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to find out if they block peer-to-peer connections. Many ISPs now block or limit peer-to-peer traffic in order to reduce the burden on their servers, most likely they have been asked to do so by the RIAA. Also ask if you are connecting through a proxy. ISPs that provide high-speed-like connections through normal dial-up connections use proxies, and many satellite connections also use proxies. LimeWire will need to be configured to work with your proxy by going to Advanced > Proxy within the LimeWire options. If your ISP sent you a modem, ask if it is equipped with a firewall. Cabos 0.7.7 (Mac OS X)
Cabos appears to be the best alternative to 'Limewire' since 'Limewire' has connectivity problems with 'Leopard'. Even though Cabos is not 'Universal', it works well on Intel Macs even with 'Leopard'. [alert admin]

LimeWire X 4.16.4 (Mac OS X)
The latest versions of 'Limewire' (Intel Mac, Leopard) have 'connectivity' problems. Even after 'prepping' the router, 'Limewire' can't connect. NOTE: Many ISPs are now blocking any 'file sharing' attempts. [alert admin]

Mac Pilot 2.4.3 (Mac OS X)
IMHO, MacPilot is not ready for 'Leopard' yet. I tried it and it completely 'hosed' my system; had to to a complete 'archive & install' ! [alert admin]

TransparentDock 2.3.8 (Mac OS X)
Thanks for the update! (P.S.: Hey, Apple! Why not make this a 'permanent' feature of OS X? ) [alert admin]

TransparentDock 2.3.7 (Mac OS X)
doesn't Apple remove this (IMHO) silly looking 'dock tape'? The OS X desktop looks so much more appealing without that piece of tape plastered on the bottom (or left or right side) of my desktop. 'TransparentDock' works well but it's frustrating to have to see it 'break' after every OS X update. If 'TransparentDock' and 'Clear Dock' can accomplish the removal of that silly looking strip, why can't Apple? Grrrrrr.... [alert admin]

'TubeTV' is a nice (better) alternative. It's also 'free'!

$14.95 for this version? I don't think so. 'Onyx' is free!

'USB Overdrive' and Mighty Mouse?--Update!
From: http://www.usboverdrive.com/ "What about Apple's Mighty Mouse ? I just ordered 3 of them from the Apple Store and I can't wait to try them out. I am fully committed to supporting Apple's new toy in the USB Overdrive. I'll release an update of the USB Overdrive as soon as it's ready, which shouldn't be long. Preliminary reports from early adopters seem to confirm that USB Overdrive 10.3.9 already works well with the Mighty Mouse if you do not install its Apple drivers. This should…

I agree. Only three levels of play is too short! Hopefully there will be additional levels (?) in the future which can be added on to the existing three?
