PandoraMan 1.0.7 (Mac OS X)
Pandora relies on advertising in order to fund the project. I know people would prefer to not see them, or figure out workarounds to disable them but you shouldn't. They deserve to try and make a profit and pay for all the musicians that work so hard to make Pandora such a great service. As long as PandoraMan is around it will be functionally identical to the legit Pandora Mini Player. [alert admin]

CarraFix 2.7 (Mac OS X)
Although Carrafix is useful for some network activity. If you use services that send data on random ports (ftp, aim, dcc, etc) then this application will never do everything you need. You should check out throttled if you need this additional functionality. With almost no configuration throttled can cap and prioritize ACK packets for ALL your file transfers... just something to think about. Not to mention Carrafix promised the source code for their application over a year ago and still hasn't provided it, in fact they even removed references to it from their website. Perhaps if it was open source a few of the major bugs would get fixed before people got their hands on "Release Versions" [alert admin]

throttled 0.2.8 (Mac OS X)
Why don't you try emailing the developer instead of posting to versiontracker? [alert admin]

contacts 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Does exactly what it says. A really simple app to display Address Book information in the terminal, and its open source. Perfect. [alert admin]

AcidJazz 1.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
bug in the initial release of ircle 3.1 b16... you should redownload ircle and it should fix your problem. [alert admin]

Haxial DiskCatalog 1.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
stop whining about the interface in haxial apps. If you don't like it, too bad. This is for reviewing all aspects of the software, including the featureset. Giving software 1 star just because you don't like the gui is just lame if you haven't even tried to use the features in the app. Haxial apps not only run fast on my machine, but also are super stable, feature rich, and I actually appreciate that they bring quality software to the mac platform. CarraFix 2.1 (Mac OS X)
completely wrong about throttled not handling tight caps effectively. Having used it for a long period of time I have never noticed problems getting good download speeds when having small upload caps. In addition throttled takes up less cpu, uses less RAM and works with more services than carrafix. [alert admin]

Net Monitor 2.9b5 (Mac OS X)
wish it allowed me to use the text view in the menubar and dock... then it would be perfect =P [alert admin]

Script Debugger 3.0.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
if you have small scripts, however large scripts (over 3200 lines) still can't be edited in the OS X version of this product, the OS 9 version does work fine however. This bug was reported over 3 months ago, and the developers have put out 3 updates, none of which addressed the problem. Ouch. [alert admin]

Figured I would reply to this. There is indeed support for Throttled Pro, unfortunately since we only have a single developer on the project it can take up to 24 hours to receive a response.
Also note that registrations are processed manually and that you may need to wait a day for your registration to be emailed to you.
Hope that clears up the confusion.

The ads load directly from pandora.com and all proceeds go to the Music Genome Project. Please take your FUD elsewhere.

Odd you have used this product for so long but never purchased it or asked for support on the product. In the future you should really email the developer if you are having problems instead of slandering them on software sites. Also I looked through your previous reviews... have you ever given something a rating other than 1 or 5 stars? Pathetic. Always strange when I see countless articles and howto's on how to setup throttled to…

Please send me your current configuration file at admin@intrarts.com so I can look over it. I assume the interface is set incorrectly.

The capping works just fine. I have not received any emails from you. Perhaps you should double check the address your sending to.

I answer every single email we get to our support department. There is no possible way you emailed us 3 times and didn't get a reply.

The binary only works in 10.3 ... you have to just do a "make;sudo make install" so it compiles it on 10.2. Then you should have no problems

Why would I delete .DS_Store files? There is actually quite a few reasons to delete them. .DS_Store files can cause verification errors in Toast if the file is modified while a CD is being burned. In addition there is no reason to burn .DS_Store files on most CDs. .DS_Store files are listed on network servers and litter file listings. Files that start with . are not hidden on Windows machines or Samba shares. .DS_Store files eat up space on…
