DiscBlaze 6.1.6 (Mac OS X)
Discblaze does not support Leopard. It works fine in Tiger, but if you try to write a disc in Leopard, it crashes. The company does indeed seem to be out of business, or they just don't care about this anymore. I purchased their Windows version for a client and it took me two months to get a response from their support people. Not good. I would not pay for this again. [alert admin]

It's not expensive software, but if you have a problem, good luck. I purchased this software for a client, after using and liking the Mac version, and when I ran into an immediate problem, I tried emailing the vendor 5 or 6 times and got no response. $20 down the drain because Paypal refused to refund my money. Not a bad scam. Write software that doesn't work and dont' support it and make sure the customer can't get a refund. Don't waste your money. [alert admin]

SpamCop 1.3.2 (Mac OS X)
Tiger claims incompatibility, but it does work
If you get a message saying that this bundle needs to be updated for Tiger, If you get this, Quit Mail, rename the folder ~/library/mail/bundles (disabled) to bundles. Then use the Terminal to execute the following: defaults write com.apple.mail EnableBundles -bool YES Spamcop reporting will then be re-enabled. [alert admin]

Ability Mail Server 2.14 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
This is a really excellent, inexpensive, full-featured mail server. It's very simple to set up and if you ever have problems, the support is very responsive (despite being in the UK). Heartily recommended, particularly for organizations on a budget. You get lots of features for little money. [alert admin]

There are a number of known issues with this build of Retrospect. It turns out that there are problems with Spotlight. Hopefully EMC/Dantz will be addressing these. I find a sort of appalling that they didn't in all the time Tiger was being tested, but well there it is. Anyway, try this. Exclude /Library/Preferences/Retrospect from Spotlight in the privacy tab Also tell Retrospect to not backup any files/folders named .Spotlight-V100 See this article: http://kb.dantz.com/display/2n/articleDirect/index.asp?aid=7976&r=0.8832819
