Pixelmator 1.3.1 (Mac OS X)

Comparison to Photoshop Elements?

I see some comments posted that Pixelmator does most of what Photoshop does at a fraction of the price. But wouldn't a better comparison be Pixelmator vs. Photoshop Elements 6? That's selling on Amazon for $72. Can anyone shed some insight on Pixelmator vs Photoshop Elements? [alert admin]

DragThing 5.9.2 (Mac OS X)

Window glitch with OS X 10.5.3

There is an issue with the latest Leopard release that affects DT. Clicking on your custom dock while in another application does switch you over to DT, but the custom dock only appears for an instant and then disappears behind other windows. Jame Thomson, DT's incredibly responsive author, replied to my email in less than twelve hours and provided this temporary work-around: disable Desktop Trash. He's working with Apple on a real fix. Event2ToDo 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Great concept but ...

... didn't work with iCal 3/Leopard. The System Requirement notes only state compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.3.9, but I had my hopes up because this AppleScript provides a very useful feature enhancement to iCal. When using this software, iCal presented an error message that roughly said "the script couldn't open or didn't finish running" I hope the author can update the script to work with the latest version of iCal. Finder Crashes every 90 secs.

I've read on other sites that this problem may be related to an incompatibility with a Stuffit AVR module, that should be disabled in System Preferences as a work-around.
