Montage 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Of all the different creative softwares I've tried this one stands out as something special. Their notion of a "trackless" workspace is brilliant and seems so obvious.....The user interface should be the foundation of a program and I think these guys are getting it right. Working with Montage is fun and creative and, most importantly, I don't get that kind of "software fatigue" many other programs seem to instill in me. I hope this is just the beginning and that arboretum finds a way to advance this software without succumbing to the pitfalls of other "bloated" apps. This is a review of 1.0 so I take off one star on stability but hopefully thats fixed in the latest update. [alert admin]
