I'm glad to hear it's not just me (in a way.) I want to try the demo out because I'm seriously shopping for a solution for authoring QuickTime movies that leverage all the special features (chapters, subtitles, etc.), but Totally Hip's registration requires so much effort on the part of the user, you forget why you were trying out the software before they actually get you the demo license (which I still haven't.) I can't believe how backwards their anti-piracy measures are; Sony must be taking notes. All they do is drive away potential customers and force them to start looking for the competition. The link for this "free" software now leads to a for-pay product produced by an entirely different company. I guess the noble goal of bringing free DVD ripping to the masses wasn't turning a profit. I think the entry should be removed as false advertising. [alert admin]
