Andromeda Velociraptor 2.2 (Mac OS X)

Linotype FontExplorer X 1.2.3 (Mac OS X)
I still can't believe that the best professional font management software for the Mac is Freeware... I'm even more impressed to see that Linotype managed to update it in less than 24 hours after the MacOS 10.5.2 update broke it. Thank you guys & girls...! [alert admin]

CoverSutra 2.0 (Mac OS X)
As pretty as it is, I don't care that much about the CD cover display on the desktop (which is usually cluttered with icons and windows) and there are plenty of other (free) iTunes remote control apps --- but the quicksearch function is simply brilliant! All in all a very neat application.
(PS: you can get it until 23 January 2008 as part of the MacHeist.com bundle) [alert admin]

Bookpedia 4.1.1 (Mac OS X)
I waited forever for "Delicious Library" to be updated and finally bought this instead. Shouldn't have waited for so long: This is a brilliant application, with lots of different options/sources for information import and huge variety of export templates. Neat! [alert admin]

BugMirror 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Visually and conceptually this is absolutely amazing, but unfortunately gets my Macbook Pro close to boiling point. Do try this out though, it looks fantastic! [alert admin]

SpamSieve 2.6.5 (Mac OS X)
Leopard's mail.app has indeed improved, but is nowhere as accurate as SpamSieve - as far as I can tell after two weeks of Leopard. I have my filters set relatively aggressively, so my biggest fear is always that I might loose a genuine email. SpamSieve's ability to flag up "uncertain spam" (via Growl) is a great feature that puts me at ease again. I did casually check the spam folder for a while, but never had a false spam that SpamSieve didn't warn me about, so I don't even bother anymore. Simply great! (Of course, an easier solution would be to just "dispose of" all spammers, but unfortunately that's illegal.) [alert admin]

>>You don't need to unplug your drive, the Time Machine system preferences panel has a giant OFF-ON slider switch on the lower left.
Indeed, it does. And they really couldn't have made it any bigger. Me dumb, sometimes...

Well, you saying that it makes no sense makes no sense to me, so there you have it. It all depends on how you work and what you want the application to do, which is very different from person to person. I'm glad to hear that hourly backups make you happy and give you meaning and purpose. For me it's far too much and I keep unplugging my backup drive to avoid the noise & slow-down.…

>> For anyone who's launched Terminal at least once, type or even paste the following commands to achieve the same effect While helpful, it's not true. This application does more than "killing" the standard appearance of Leopard's dock: it replaces it with a variety of themes, including different backgrounds and different graphic indicators for active apps.

v45 deleted all my current downloads!
I had the same issue with the last update (b.42), but after re-downloading the torrents, XTorrents recognized the old partial downloads. For (b.45), I tried downloading/installing the update from within the application. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, but I had no problems this time.

You can expect whatever you want, that's fair enough. You can wish for thanks, hope for thanks, even crave thanks (which you obviously do)... - But publicly demanding thanks for a voluntary donation displays a somewhat unhealthy sense of entitlement. You didn't buy thanks, you made a DONATION!
