Greppie 1.0 (Mac OS X)
as a unix-savvy folk, i wouldn't pay anything for this. i know how to use grep and i find it easier, especially using regular expressions, to use the cli. just me perhaps. [alert admin]

Crossword Assistant 2.0 (Mac OS X)
summutha, you think maybe versiontracker has the wrong info in their database? i do. so why rate software you have not downloaded as only worth 1 star when you haven't even tried it yet. what a jackass!! you miss the point of even having a rating system by poluting it with "feedback" like yours. even if the developer is the one that screwed up their contact info, you don't rate software based on your inability to download it. duh! Thursby DAVE X 4.1 (Mac OS X)
backpacker, it isn't just the subnets that are the problem, it could be the absence of a master browser or not specifying the correct domain/workgroup to browse in. if you do not change your workgroup settings on your mac you will only see workstations on the same subnet as you or on different subnets but members of the domain called workgroup since you will only be sending broadcast packets. apple is boasting about better windows compatability with panther which i hope will include better active directory integration. blueskymining, printer sharing is a no-brainer already for os x. i am not sure what you are talking about but i too manage one of those cross-platform enterprise networks with 4000 win clients and 1200 mac clients. i do not use dave nor do i need to and especially not for printer sharing. smb, cifs, afp, sfm, whatever. i can connect natively from the client os or i can configure the server os to allow for sfm. why does thursby still develop this software? what?!? are you kidding duck9? it really isn't THAT hard to do. i just find that the older versions worked fine and i have no need to update...or do i? i do not see "what is new with this version" so unless i go to cisco's site and do some research, i will never know. see you at work, duck9.
