TextWrangler 3.0 (Mac OS X)
New version seems good. FTP box looks different but works well. Will review after I've used it more. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 4.0 (Mac OS X)
Upgrading from 4 beta to 4.0 removed CoolIris and refused to re-install CoolIris. Probably need for CoolIris to update their stuff. Also need to wait for others to tell me how to re-instate the progress bar. [alert admin]

VLC Media Player 0.9.9 (Mac OS X)
Hopefully libdvdcss is still OK to be used by Handbrake. Anyone know? [alert admin]

Apple Java 5.0R6 (Mac OS X)
I assume, since it is not provided for Leopard 10.5, that 10.5 already has this and this is just for those on 10.4.10 and 10.4.11 The 10.4.10 and higher comment is misleading [alert admin]

Love this product. Had to use the 3.1 non-Lite version for a month for free when the Lite version did not keep up with the new RSS definition. [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 7.3 (Mac OS X)
Partially updated Library over AirDisk? ![]()

Loaded fine, then started up by "Updating library" which in my case is on an Airport Extreme router with disk attached. It looked OK and I walked away and when I came back the disk was no longer accessible, and the disk icon had disappeared and wouldn't reconnect no matter what I did with Airport Disk Utility. Had to reset password with Airport Utility and then everything was OK again. All the music on the remote disk was fine and played well with 7.3 although many songs were marked with that "unavailable" exclamation mark. However when double clicked they played fine and removed the mark. Obviously the "updating" did not complete, but it had no effect on the playability of the library. I wonder what the updating actually did and will the non-doing of it bite me later? Perhaps the heavy "updating" read/write activity over 802.11n crashed the Airdisk settings? [alert admin]

Apple Safari 3.0b (Mac OS X)
Wouldn't load a page, not even Apple.com
Loaded Safari 3 beta on c2d macbook with 10.4.9 and it fired up but wouldn't load even the Apple website. Tried 3 times, sent bug reports to Apple (but not sure if they went), then uninstalled and am back to Safari 2. Could be because I have Safari Enhancer installed. Wireless MightyMouse acting sluggishly now too after instal and uninstall and three restarts. Will look into that. Maybe not ready for primetime. [alert admin]

Tidy Service 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)
OK, sorry for last post. Read instructions more carefully now and you have to highlight the text (select all) then pick Tidy to xhtml and then it does the right thing, sort of. Would be nice if 1) You could get the errors separately (all of them) in a new file. 2) You wrote the output file to a new file, in the calling app, without touching the old file. 3) Had an option to not remove blank lines, as I like my blank lines for readability, perhaps only remove extra blank lines where there are more than one in a row. Will try it on some new html pages soon. Thanks for the work. [alert admin]

Tidy Service 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)
Just tried it with TextWrangler and on a clean XHTML file it inserts an HTML 3.2 doctype and header randomly into the text and says it looks like 3.2, when in reality it is a valid (on line validated by W3C) xhtml strict document. Using TextWrangler 2.2.1 on MacOS 10.4.9 on a MacBook [alert admin]

My real question was, since this is not for 10.5, does this mean that 10.5 already has this version of Java?
