Tigergotchi 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Hi! Indeed there was a bug in the 1.0 version of Tigergotchi that made it consume CPU cycles just as fast as meat, water and love. This bug seems to be the cause of similar behaviour we have now seen in other widgets as well, and we have reported it to Apple. The good news is that this is fixed in Tigergotchi 1.0.1, and even further improved it in version 1.1. It now uses no more than 0.1% CPU time when Tigergotchi is hidden.... If you downloaded the 1.0 version, be sure to give the new version a try! [alert admin]

DisctopPro 2.2 (Mac OS X)
Additional System Requirements
Note: Disctop only works in machines containing an optical drive that is capable of writing CDs and/or DVDs, as it depends on the disk recording framework. Unfortunately that means that on machines having a CD-rom drive only, like a Pismo PowerBook, Disctop will not work. We will try to fix this in an upcoming update. Mek & Tosj [alert admin]

Identified issue opening ABI files on MacOSX 10.2
Dear Versiontracker visitors, Unfortunately, we have identified an issue with opening certain ABI files on macs running Jaguar. This bug will not form any risk to your files, but certain ABI files will not open or produce strange drawing effects when opened. The same files will open properly on macs running MacOSX 10.3 Panther. We are currently investigating how to repair this bug and we will post an update version as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience, Mek & Tosj [alert admin]

Love the programs - hate the registration process
Hi Markus, Thanks for the kind words. We will make this point of the registration process more clear. Also we have kept the fact that people buy new computers in mind. If this is not sufficient, please send us an email and we can easily adjust things. We normally don't take longer than half a day to respond... Cheers, Alex & Tom Mek & Tosj

> but why not do something more positive, like provide early-adopters (i.e. > alpha and beta testers) a price break on the eventual product, or the ability to > buy in early for a reduced price. Thanks for the heads up, you seem to have missed however that the price we currently ask is indeed a reduced one as long as the program is in preview. Also, in our view (this may differ from that…

Why we do this? Because a lot of users love it already in its current form, despite the fact that their are obvious flaws we really work hard on. Also, it's a total misconception that we try to make an endnote replacement here. I could go on for a few minutes, but as the above person already says: "No one is forcing you to use it in its current form". It's a new program,…

We like to do that, but then the folders on top of the disc are not accessible anymore. We guess people don't want that to happen.
