LimeWire X 4.10.9 (Mac OS X)
Was told by Apple Technical Support that some issues I was having could be from LimeWire. Told that LimeWire actually will rewrite some of Mac's operating system that even Apple is unable to correct. Only solution is to Erase and Install. So I then contacted LimeWire for help in Uninstalling. They never would answer any of my repeated e-mails. [alert admin]

Twice I have run into situations where I was 95% sure that the data file(s) were history and twice the 5% prevailed along with prompt, curtious and (of course) knowledge assistance from the developer. When I sent an e-mail requesting their help with lost serial numbers, etc., they reply with the needed fix within hours, not days. No need for those automated responses that say they will get back with you as soon as possible or within a certain time…
