iBatt 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Amendment to my other review... I ran this on my old Pismo, and it doesn't see two batteries if you have a battery in each of the Pismo's slots. Something to think about if you have a Pismo but other than that this works really well. [alert admin]

iBatt 1.0 (Mac OS X)
There are 2 other battery programs out there- XCharge and X-Battery. I used to use them both but now I'm going to try just using iBatt because it does everything. I have 3 batteries for my 12" G4, and I tried popping each one in- this gives me the correct stats for all of them. If you're losing battery life fast this will definitely tell you why. My first one went almost completely dead after 6 months. The Internet averages seem to be pretty accurate but I wouldn't completely rely on them. Some people are probably using upgraded 3rd party batteries etc. [alert admin]

Nisus Writer Express 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Disappointing compared with the old Nisus ![]()

This is a good word processor and it has a nice interface. But its predecessor for OS 9 was EXCELLENT, and this falls way short. I hope they can get this up to speed, because I'd love to have a "true" Nisus for OS X. [alert admin]

Does what it says. Can serve as sort of a multiple clipboard system. $15 is reasonable... I know people like to bicker about price but as I see it $15 should be a bare minimum for shareware. It probably took a lot of time to make this. [alert admin]

I haven't tried this but my initial thought is that having only JDBC is a little bit limiting. Fine for Oracle, but unless you're running a JSP site you probably wont have JDBC running on another DBMS. But if you do, this sounds like it could be really useful. I've been looking for something like this and never found one. [alert admin]

Synchronize! Pro X 3.3.1 (Mac OS X)
I used to use this, but now i get by with Carbon Copy Cloner. There are some things I like a lot better about CCC even though it doesn't have all the features of Sync pro. Give them both a look before you decide. [alert admin]

Rally Shift 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
Looks like a lot of work went into this and it looks really good! I haven't played it much yet but I'm impressed. Would love to see network support. [alert admin]
