OnyX 1.9.3 (Mac OS X)
More often than not, Onyx has solved problems where others have failed. I highly recommend this! [alert admin]

Sandvox 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
I WANT to recommend Sandvox... ![]()

I've been using Sandvox for several months. Having used iWeb which makes updating pages to non-.mac accounts a bit tedious, I tried Sandvox. While it is a neat program, it is unreliable. This version simply will not run, crashing each time I try to launch it. I wish I had saved the old version as now I cannot modify my sites! [alert admin]

Drag'n'tooth 1.3.2 (Mac OS X)
I've been using Drag'n'Tooth for some time. I've been very pleased with the product. The one problem I had (early on) was the tendency for my Palm to crash after file transfer. This has been fixed. I use the application fairly regularly and can highly recommend it for anyone wanting a quick way to install items to their Palm. [alert admin]

Firefox 1.5.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Updated from within Firefox with no problems. FF is fast, but I can't seem to work out the autofill forms business. The extensibility is great BUT there is a vast ocean of extensions to wade through and deciphering descriptions of these requires a degree in computer engineering. Of course that is the fault of the kind souls who write the extensions. I think more "average" users (like me) would appreciate quality (and clarity) over quantity (ie. Extensions that are easy to understand and use). [alert admin]

Login Logout Tasks 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I find the premis behind this application intrguing (I manage a small computer lab on a college campus) but am unable to get the application to run. I've downloaded two copies- one from Versiontracker and the other from the developer's website. Neither seems to be a working app... no error messages appear and nothing appears in Activity Monitor. disclabel 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Nice idea but lacks in intuitiveness (new word?). Stability and speed are also an issue. I've experienced several hangs with 3.0 requiring a force-quit. Switching from one area to the next (template to edit to media, for example) can be PAINFULLY slow even on my 17" Powerbook with max EVERYTHING. The interface doesn't always operate as expected. Clicking on the drop-down menu to select iTunes, iPhoto, etc. projects sometimes requires a "click-hold" to work as expected. I'd still recommend this product, just be ready for a few little quircks... [alert admin]

OSX SkyFighters 1945 0.8.1 (Mac OS X)
Tried for the allotted 8 days, but didn't have a joystick to use until the 9th day. DOH?! And five minutes? And $30?! Come on! I wish I had something to say about this product, but 5 minutes and 8 days is simply NOT long enough! [alert admin]

smsZap 0.9.3 (Mac OS X)
Not until I tried to send a message did I learn that I would need to purchase "credits" to send a message. A bit deceptive if you ask me... [alert admin]
