WeatherDock 2.5 (Mac OS X)

nice app

no problems here. very handy in the menubar which is how I use it. I wish it could display personal weather stations as Wunderground does, but hey WeatherDock is a great little program. [alert admin]

Deja Vu 3.4.1 (Mac OS X)

my favorite backup app

The options and interface suit my need to backup fast and easily well. This app backs up "files and folders" as they are instead of compressing them into a proprietary format like other apps. Author is responsive to questions. This app uses the unix program psync. [alert admin]

Scenario Poker 1.5 (Mac OS X)

excellent holdem widget

I play this all the time. It's a decent approximation of playing live. I love the ease of playing it though- just hit F12 and I'm in. Probably my favorite widget of all. At a full table, odds seem to take priority. Later in the game when only a few players remain, everyone bluffs like mad, which can be annoying. I wish I could use the keyboard to check, but I don't think that's possible with a widget. If you want to play with real peeps (real or fake $), then download the fulltiltpoker.com mac app. [alert admin]

Little Snitch 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Good program.

I love it. Easy user interface. I would be willing to pay $15 for this app due to it's narrow functionality, which is not to say it should do more. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.3.1 (Mac OS X)

Great update.

I recommend this update. Great new features and stability. However, the update price is a bit steep. A minor gripe: the AppleHelp documentation shoud be more extensive. [alert admin]
