It says it supports PS CS3... but it doesn't

Apple Safari 4.0 (Mac OS X)
Dock icon bounces 9 times and it crashes... I've reset permissions and performed maintainance scripts and nothing helps. Any ideas? Running Latest OS on Intel Core Duo iMac with 4 GB ram. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.5.2 (Mac OS X)
Though it says it's only an intel update, I was able to upgrade my G5 iMac through software update... however now that it's running my processor is tapped out all the time at 100%. Everything is running slow and my apps keep unexpectedly quitting. I have tried fixing permissions and the disc utility hangs... I'm at a loss... do I need to reinstall and wait for the next "upgrade" Any suggestions out there? [alert admin]

drtimothyjames is absolutely Right!
I tried the advice of drtimothyjames (below) and now I'm able to run iTunes 7.3.1 with Shapeshifter running. Anyone running Shapeshifter and running into troubles should just follow the advice in the comment below mine here. Thanks drtimothyjames! [alert admin]

It's a ShapeShifter Conflict that's to blame...
If you open ShapeShifter (by Unsanity) go to exclude and choose iTunes. I did this and the new iTunes started up without a hiccup. I hope this helps. If any of you are experiencing this without having Shapeshifter installed, I'll suspect that it's another prefernce in conflict. Best of luck all... once again... I hope this information helps. This one will too. I just loaded it onto my iMac G5 1.9 Ghz and suddenly iTunes will not start... sound familiar anyone? This is another Beta ware as far as I'm concerned. Apple is really dropping the ball. I'm going back to 7.2 now... [alert admin]

Amadeus Pro 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
The other apps out there that do what this does cost twice as much. I really love what this does. It has an easy to understand interface (and I'm a total clutz when it comes to learning which buttons to push). I even like their Users Forum. What more can I say? I have used Peak and Tried the Trial version of SoundStudio and find this app to be as good as either of them for what my needs are (mastering home recorded music from GarageBand, and cleaning up band rehearsals recorded with a Zoom H-4). Sound Studio 3.5.3 (Mac OS X)
Amadeus Pro is Better and costs much less.
I used this app till they asked for near $80 US and decided to go check out the competition. I found that Amadeus Pro to do all the same tricks that this newer verion of SoundStudio does for 1/2 the cost. I would have bought this if the developer wasn't asking such a high price. SoundStudio works well and I really mourned not being able to afford the new version... luckilly there is competition. [alert admin]

Hmmmm..... I don't know about this one.
It looks like the intel Macs aren't having the troubles of not having iTunes boot after installation. My only way of getting iTunes to run on my iMac G5 again after installing this one was to take the last version I had off of another partition on my computer and to physically replace the App and then it's reciepts from my Library. I also had to turn off the iTunes helper app from my login items to replace the App from one drive to another. I highly suggest for all non intel users to backup thier copy of iTunes before installing this. I'm sure the next version will work better for us. This is a first for this Apple Computer user of 15 years... everything has always worked well for me right out of the gate. I don't know what's up here... OSX 10.4.10 [alert admin]

Safari 4.0 release does not like VideoBox
I uninstalled videobox and put all my plugins into the disabled folder and the darned thing will not launch still... any ideas? I reset privileges etc... nothing is working and funny thing... the beta worked fine for me.

Ahhhhhh... I see... it's only an upgrade if you have purchased this before! Hmmmmm.... I think there are a couple of other low priced options out there for getting audio from your applications. Yeah, that's a freaky cool tweaked theme! Still, I just tried the advice of drtimothyjames and found that it definitely works! Very nice to have my theme consistent through all of my apps (including iTunes now). It'll be worth the log out and in... trust me. By the way, you'll want to disable the appearance enhancer to do what he said...

iTunes 7.3.1 won't startup at all
Do you have Shapeshifter? If you do, it's the culprit. Just load the Shapeshifter system preference pane and choose the "exclude" tab. Have it find iTunes and exclude it and you'll be back in action. The only trouble will be that your interface will return to Aqua whenever iTunes is in the front. If you want continuous theme GUI presentation you'll need to revert to 7.2 which you can pick…

and... oh yeah, I totally still have the free version and like to use it as well. I like it's graphic EQ and a few of it's built in effects. A good mastering tool.
