MetaX 2.2.8 (Mac OS X)
Works very good but one small issue with TV-Shows ![]()

The tag for disk number and track number are different for MetaX than iTunes. MetaX allows only a simple number (1, 2, 3, etc), iTunes expects a string like '1 of 6' or '22 of 26'.
Otherwise MetaX is a very useful program, and functions as advertised. [alert admin]

Little Snitch 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Every user on your system will be required to set up there own Little Snitch rule list. If you have children or a wife that isn't computer literate using their own user ID expect lots of problems. [alert admin]

After upgrading to the latest version I can no longer boot XP under Parallels, and I find myself in the position that to boot to Boot Camp I have to watch very carefully and switch away from the Parallels in order to boot. Contacting Parallels has not been any help, they asked for a few logs and I haven't heard from them for several days now. I'm now considering moving to VMWare and will probably do so in the future. I'd llike to update my previous review of this product. Having actually tried it now it does exactly what I needed it to do. The version checking bug has been fixed and I really appreciate the fact that version checking can be turned off. [alert admin]

Amadeus II 3.8.1 (Mac OS X)
Application crashes immediately upon launch. It's completely unusable. Pulling the network connection is completely out of the question, this software is a joke and should be ignored. [alert admin]

Warning no upgrade path to new PDA!
If you purchase a new Palm, and you follow Palm's advise to use a new name to insure old applications don't cause problems on the new PDA you'll have to repurchase WordSmith. When I sent them mail asking what my options were, I was ignored. I'm NOT happy. [alert admin]

I FirFox almost daily because of the javascript debugger. I have had it crash, but only occasionally. One suggestion is to create a new user and try running it from that user. If it works

This has nothing to do with the Apple update. It didn't work before I applied the update, it didn't work after applying the update. However, now that HairerSoft's site is back up it works fine (the site was down at least part of the weekend). A program that depends on a web site working is guaranteed to become unusable when it's really needed and therefore can't be depended on for real work. And like I said…
