Logitech Control Center 2.4.0 (Mac OS X)

Strangely - seems ok here.

I've had issues with previous versions of this software, but version 2.4.0 seems to work well with my Intel iMac running Leopard 10.5.2. Still, I'm nervous when another Mac or LCC update comes along as this may all quickly go horribly wrong. [alert admin]

SteerMouse 3.9 (Mac OS X)

Broke my Finder

Had to uninstall as it broke my finder. Not enough testing? [alert admin]

LaunchBar 4.3.5 (Mac OS X)

One of the most indispensable apps on my Mac!

There is nothing can touch LaunchBar for its power and ease of use. I've tried all of them (Quicksilver, Butler, Dragthing, etc.) but LB has never left my Doc. The best at what it does - PERIOD. [alert admin]

LaunchBar 4.3.4 (Mac OS X)

By far the best!

This baby rocks! Regardless if you're not solely sold on the idea of mainly using your keyboard to launch apps, run scripts, etc., this application has so much usefulness it's not funny. And if you do prefer mouse clicks, having this alongside gives you the best of both worlds. This is by far my favorite mac tool. Buy it, you won't regret it! [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Windows Mobile 4.0.2 (Mac OS X)

Truly awful.

I thought I'd give these clowns one final chance with this recent update. Still remains the most unreliable and frustrating software program I have ever used. THERE IS A REASON THEY DON'T OFFER TIME LIMITED TRIALS - if they did, they would have no sales! Don't waste your time. [alert admin]

Daylite 3.5 (Mac OS X)

Warning! This thing will make your mac act wierd.

I downloaded the trial and from the word go, it has been messing up my Mac. It spent over 30 mins trying to import my address book and iCal and then just hung there. Had to force-quit and then other apps started freezing up on me. Trashed the application but it has latched onto my Mail app and now I can't remove the stupid thing. And what's worse is that Mail is now freezing constantly and I know it's because of Daylite. Proceed with caution if you want to test this application. [alert admin]

Palm Desktop 4.2.1revD (Mac OS X)

Works a treat!

After messing around with Missing Sync and having several problems, I'm back to Palm and Palm Desktop. Installed without a hitch. Runs well. For its ability to sync categories across the board and it's reliability - Palm's the go. Might pay to repair permissions after installing (I do it with all software installations). [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 5.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Woh! Must learn to not be so quick...

I take back my previous post. I've realised that since installing the latest update, iCal calendars are buggy. They look and work fine in iCal, but are an hour out on my Palm Treo. Tried creating on Palm then modifying in iCal - same thing. Boy do I feel like a d*^k. Rather than reverting to the last version, I'm going to go back to ol' faithful (Palm) until ALL the bugs are ironed out on this thing. [alert admin]

Omni Web ~ The Crash King!

I recenly purchased this browser as an alternative to Safari. Boy, what a mistake that was. I can't run this thing for more than 5 minutes without it crashing. I've never owned a piece of software that crashes so much. Do yourself a favour and avoid this lemon at all cost.
