Things 1.2.4 (Mac OS X)
And 1.2.5 won't update either...
The title says it all, a new version posted within hours of 1.2.4 doesn't upgrade either and hangs on download. [alert admin]

Things 1.2.4 (Mac OS X)
Won't download the disc image, won't install, won't update Things won't do a thing when it comes to updating. [alert admin]

RealPlayer 11.1.0 (Mac OS X)
I suggest you keep a copy of 11.0.1 to downgrade to when you find that 11.1.0 crashes as I experience and reported by others running OS 10.6.1. Sadly I have to be able to view real content for my work otherwise I wouldn't let this software near my Mac. [alert admin]

Things 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)
Neither the program's updater or a download from versiontracker works to update to Things 1.2. I get an error message from the progam saying the download is improperly signed and the manual download from versiontracker results in a 1.5 to 1.8 Mb file (should be 8 Mb) that refuses to open. Adobe Acrobat 9.1.2 (Mac OS X)
For the second time an Acrobat update comes out that will not update. Acrobat keeps telling me I have modified the program and it won't wrk. I have not modified anything. When I tried to update to 9.1 I ended up having to de & re-install the whole program (Adobe couldn't suggest anything else that would work). Even though I have re-installed from scratche and not changed anything Acrobat once again says that I have modified Acrobat. Great, security updates and I can't install them. [alert admin]

Apple Safari 4.0 (Mac OS X)
...the other taketh away - or something superstitious like that. Runs faster, seems stable but a massive backward step in loss of visible progress bar and loss of the tabs in the title bar - at least give the option to have them. My favourite browser just got a lot less user-friendly by pandering to the tab-dinosaurs out there. Frankly I'm going to try to re-install the Beta use Google Chrome instead :-( [alert admin]

Things 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
Won't download, can't review...
Neither the VT or the developer site downloads work. They are both very slow and usually the file finishes downloading at between 500 & 800 kb in size and consequently will not recognise the disc image. So far I have tried this on 4 different machines, (2 Macs and 2 PCs on 2 different internet connections). :-( [alert admin]

How about 10.6 Compatibility and 64-bit?!
Well I'm running it on 10.6 and VueScan seems to work just fine. What's the problem?

But what about all the people who think the old-style in-the-way-of-the-browser tabs are inefficient and intrusive. Wouldn't it be better to have the choice instead of forcing everyone to use the same interface. I now us Google Chrome beta instead of Safari because I can't bear to loose all that screen space hidden by the old-fashioned dangling tabs. :-(
