ScreenCleaner Pro 1.0 (Mac OS X)
As a Tech with 35 years experience, I'd LOVE to hear how you can get 'feed back' from a monitor about it's gamma curve. If you look at an SVGA pinout of the 15 pin connector, (see SVGA Pinouts for example.) there is NO provision for this. Same is true for DVI connectors. (LCDs - DVI pinouts) And I seriously doubt that internal monitors have it either. From reading Bud Simrin's and now jackl73's responses, it's got to be, at best, an April Fool's joke, at worst, a virus. DON'T Download! [alert admin]

MenuCalendarClock 1.2.0b1 (Mac OS X)
Type10, if you get into System Prefs : Date & Time : Clock tab, and turn off the 'Show Date and Time', that'll clear space for MCC. Then, in MCC : Prefs (Cmd-,) : Menu Item tab, Postion 'left' will get you close to the old Apple setup. btw, I find "%A, %b %e, %1I:%M:%S %p" a good format for the dislay. [alert admin]

Haxial TextEdit 1.630 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Argy1, if you'd
read
the 'Generic Documentation.pdf' included with HT, you'd find that you can create a 'Appearances' folder in the 'Haxial TextEdit1630-Mac' folder, then go here: http://www.customize.org/list/haxial and download either of these: 'Mac OS X 10.3.4' or 'Mac OSexy 10.3', put them in the 'Appearances' folder, pick it in the 'Settings' menu item, and have your Aqua theme and eat it too. (They even mention themes in the Product Description here.) It might be easier if they included them both with the archive... (hint) I do think it would be nice to have the
option
of turning off the menu-in-window-title-bar in the Settings (? should be
Preferences
for us Mac types ?) menu item, but the program is great enough for me to live with it. Then again, would be nice to turn it (menu-in-window-title-bar) on occasionally in other Mac apps (as part of Mac GUI), much as I hate WinDoze™. :-) [alert admin]

PCBWarrior 1.3.3b15 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
tried good ole Transmit ftp client to download (have had 'fun' with ftp & safari' before). turned out the file was at wrong level in directory tree. one level too high, listed url: '.../beta' folder was empty. looked a level higher, and there it was. but wouldn't allow download. rechecked '.../beta' and there it was/is. must have fixed location error while i looked. downloaded with no problem. now to check it out :-) [alert admin]
