MacProgramGuide 0.61 (Mac OS X)
I tried this and it gives me the listings for my DirecTV channels, but when i searched for a show, NASA, it showed 6 shows. i bookmarked HDNet for its HD coverage and then tried a search (using search field in toolbar) for Good Eats. it found one show. I don't get that channel so I backed the search criteria out and hit return. Now the window is blank, the details are still showing for Good Eats and i can't get the listing back for all channels now. Not a good thing. [alert admin]

Airport Mania 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I spent the entire time in demo playing this game. The sounds, the neat graphics and increasing difficulty make it more and more interesting as you play. I had no problems running the game, and it was smooth, easy to understand and use and did not give any errors or crashes. Only problem? Price. I would pay 9.99 for it, but 19.95 is a little high for me. If price comes down, I'll buy. [alert admin]

Microsoft Office 2008 12.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I had no issues while updating and now Sync -seemed- faster and Entourage as a whole opened a tad quicker as well. I hope they have optimized the code some more so other apps I have not even bothered with are better as well. Mike [alert admin]

EyeConnect 1.5 (Mac OS X)
Sketchy with DirecTV HD DVR and 10.5 beta
Using Developer beta, this version will not restart after stopping to make changes. Re-installing does restart the server. but stopping again to make any change results in not being able to restart again. On the DVR side, an HDR20-100, the server can be seen and sometimes works, but most times simply takes too long to load anything. Combo of both right now is not good. Hope they get it fixed soon so it works better with 10.5 and this DVR. Another note... works very well with 10.4.10 and the HDR20. [alert admin]

I DL'd this today to join an IRC channel my son helps run. He had no idea how to us eit, so I was on my own. Opened it up and right away knew what I needed to enter and where. I was in the channel in a few minutes. What I found was it was not setup fto use scripts and I had to 1 find them, and 2 figure out how to install/use them. Some I grabbed are Itunes, Weather, and sysinfo. iTunes works great, but does not auto enter the song that is playing. You have to type /itunes each time. Weather asked me the first time what my zip was, but did not ever show the weather when I typed /weather. Sysinfo will not bring up prefs, but at least does show the commands it supports, only if you know them. A trip to Script Editor showed me the commands and I copied a few down I wanted to use. All in all a good, seemingly solid IRC client. Never quit, no one complained about my messages or the format they were coming in and the only complaint I have is the scripts... they need some serious attention. [alert admin]

NFL Schedule 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I downloaded this because it says 'schedule'. What I get is the final score of the last game, not a 'schedule'. If I wanted the score I could find it a hundred plus places on the web. What I wanted was the schedule, next game, time, network broadcasting game...etc... It works well enough, just not a schedule. [alert admin]

Serene Saver 1.31 (Mac OS X)
Not sure, but on my G4 and 17" Apple LCD, the images are pixelated somewhat and the quality is just not there. Seems like a 640x480 stretched to fit my screen. No resolution setting as far as i can tell and I won't buy it if it looks this bad. If it was clear and crisp, I'd buy in a second. [alert admin]

Google Earth 3.1.0621.0 (Mac OS X)
I find on my Mac G4 the text ballons are empty. Even the ones from Google and my own from previous entries. No information is visible in any of them. Needs to be looked at.
Otherwise, I am impressed with the speed on my 1GHz G4 tower, but I think there are more recent and much better photos (Microsoft Live.Local is awesome, down to 25yds and very clear).
Overall I give it a 4 star for being so easy to use. [alert admin]

Still cannot open Entourage calendar events by clicking them, and other remarks
They open just fine on my MBP. Make sure you are double-clicking on the TIME and not the Description as this is the only difference I noted.
