iCab 4.6.1 (Mac OS X)
iCab had languished for quite a while some time back. But, when it came back, it had really improved. I still use Safari ore often just die to convenience, but iCab is an excellent browser, too. [alert admin]

Advanced Web Ranking 6.5 (Mac OS X)
Results can fill up a space-challenged hard drive quickly. Appears to use too much memory. Definitely takes a long time to process everything. And it's too expensive, especially the annual fees for support. But, having said all that, this is great application for those serious about monitoring their website placement. Some of my complaints are simply a result of the power of this application. Support has been responsive. If you are serious about finding out about your site, and if you have lots of money to throw around, I definitely recommend getting this. Five stars. [alert admin]

Saft 10.5.6 (Mac OS X)
Thanks for the Simple Updating
I am past due adding the comment others have made thanking the developer for a now-easy way to update SAFT. It was really horrible in the past. Now it is easy. I don't use SAFT for a lot, considering everything it says it can do. But what I do use it for makes it worthwhile to me. [alert admin]

Saft 10.0.6 (Mac OS X)
I absolutely agree with previous posters! Too hard to update! Have to do it again now and I don't even remember what I have to do. Why can't we just download updates and install as other developers allow. It is a really nice ap. I was tempted to give it a rating based on the problems updating. It is part of the application. But, like others, I just leaving the comment here HOPING the developer will get the message and make it easy. I don't remember EVER being able to get an update without an email to the developer. Apple MacBook/Pro Software Update 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Nearly since getting my MacBook, it has been often very hard to click on the pad. It was not responsive. Apple replaced it once. But it was still bad. I had a repair number but never sent it in because I needed it and was functioning with a wireless Mighty Mouse (except when it would lose recognition.) I don't know about forgetting the mouse, but this update appears to have completely fixed the trackpad issue. I am very happy about it. [alert admin]

Mactracker 5.0 (Mac OS X)
I don't remember whether I reviewed this a long time back, but it's obviously past due whether or not I did. This is the easiest way to have Mac information at your fingertips and most of us are grateful to the author for his years of work keeping this and us current. Everything's fine for me and it keeps getting better. Thanks. [alert admin]

FLVR 2.0b (Mac OS X)
I'm surprised that when Leopard killed this ap, I missed its functionality more than almost any of my other aps. I've emailed the developer as others did to try to get it back! [alert admin]

WriteRoom 2.3.2 (Mac OS X)
I have not used WriteRoom. But, if all it primarily does is clear all else for a full screen writing space, other word processing applications already do that. Mellel, for example, does. I think there are some others, too, but their names slip me. [alert admin]

Anemona 1.3 (Mac OS X)
It could use some color options (and perhaps some other settable options), but the developer seems to be working on Anemona so I'll assume such may be forthcoming. Other than that, it's a nice break from my usual .Mac screensaver selections and I like it. [alert admin]

GC has been reasonably priced. And considering it can be used in Demo mode, you were not even denied the application. So, he handled the upgrade not as you would have liked so you say the application is a bad one and not recommended? You're wrong.

I would agree that with significant additions/changes to an application a new review would not be out of line. Reunion seems to have significant change here. It also bothers me when people are accused of working for the developer when they merely provide their honest feedback in support of whichever application they really like. I would have trouble believing the Reunion people would be stacking the deck at VT. Of course, I've been wrong before,…

Hardly a "lame comment." Simply a comment. I posted no review and no rating. Since the description and comments indicate to me that its full screen writing environment seems to be its one trick, such a comment would appear on target. It is not a cheap ap for just doing that. If there is something I'm missing, then I'd like to hear it. It doesn't seem cheap for what it does and there may be…

Would really like this updated. Seems the developer has given up on it or closed down. This has been my favorite AAPL monitor. If it stays gone, does someone have a good alternative?

I have confidence in VB, as do others here. Frankly, if VB people had told me there was a temporary security problem with permissions via DiskUtility, I may be inclined to listen to them not to tell them it's the "wrong answer". Your failure to use VB is a loss for you, IMO. What did you install instead? Nothing?

I don't get it, The above responses sound like the USPS approves it, but later a poster from the company said that the company itself approves it?
