Pic2Icon 1.3 (Mac OS X)
Compared to DropIcon 3.0.2 this one creates beautiful anti-aliased icons! An update would certainly be nice, it's been literally years but this is still a gem. My only complaint is that every now and then an icon fails to update in the finder. other than that 5/5 super super super program. I've tried nearly all of them and this is the best combined with quicksilver! drag and drop away! i'm actually creating 10,000 icons as I type this in the background for my images! And if you want an even cooler solution combine quicksilver with Pic2Icon and Xee 2.0 as your default image browser! Sweetness! [alert admin]

Transmission 0.6.1 (Mac OS X)
I just love transmission! With two torrents running it still uses under 2% of my 1.3GHz G4's CPU and less than 2MB of real RAM. The easiest to use, and most beautiful interface, the dock badging (with txput) is wonderful! though i also use menumeters for that. the ability to restrict upload speeds is a major blessing. More frequent updates would be nice. As a suggestion, i would appreciate it if the next version included the ability to selectively download individual files within torrents. 5 out 5! [alert admin]

Fast & Lean! Only takes a moment longer than preview to load, and provides with tons of functionality and keyboard navigation not to mention full screen! (uh, preview?? didn't think so!) LOVE: Intuitive Safari/Photoshop style keyboard navigation! LOVE: Deleting files from within app! (no more trips to the finder!) LOVE: Image info at bottom of screen WISH: Why doesn't it read PDFs?? also optional thumbnail sidebar with previews would be nice [alert admin]

Developer Website Down, Mirror?
Does anyone have a mirror to PPP? I've been waiting patiently but their website has been down for quite a few weeks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. [alert admin]

I used to use Azureus before i found Transmission. It's like comparing Acquisition to LimeWire. Limewire/Azureus is slow, nicely featured but written in Java (uck!). Tranmission has a wonderful Mac style interface and most of all is lean, not bloatware! I love it, and definately look forward to any future updates! #1 feature request is the ability to select files for download. [alert admin]

iPhoto Diet 3.0.8 (Mac OS X)
Sounds like a great app, but i'd love it if it would also give some options to resize the massive photos my D70 takes. I don't need ALL my albums in full rez. They're GB and GB's of space on my powerbook! With a name like diet, i thought this would be perfect but i'll keep looking. :( [alert admin]

ComicBookLover 1.1 build 560 (Mac OS X)
I also agree. I've tried FFview and while it does seem speedy, it also makes the fan on my powerbook turn on like crazy since it draws using opengl. not only does CBL match (or even beat that speed) but it offers the best user interface. it seems programmed using some kind of apple framework as you'll notice many of the interface is shared with Apple's iLife apps. (iphoto and itunes)...by the time this hits version 2.0 i'm sure it'll be well polished. needs :advanced sorting, deselecting. Love: the preview keyboard shortcuts, fullscreen and being able to visually look at my collection. [alert admin]
